One thing I'd suggest before hitting the "Begin Season" button - Go into the draft rounds and tag the keepers in Yahoo. It's an important tidbit to be aware of from a trade or waiver standpoint during the season and could affect FAB investments or trade thoughts. p.s. My roster looks accurate...

Excellent job by all with the draft - quick and smooth! PSU - thanks again for taking the Commish role for the season. I can't thank you enough for stepping up to do so! Posty (Eeyore ) - thanks as always for providing the spreadsheets that help the league to easily get the info we need for keepers and the draft. You love to martyr yourself annually by saying things run better since you left, but your sheets are a major reason why things continue to go well. To all - thanks again for all of the reach outs, offers to Commish beyond just PSU, kind words and support I've received since my wife passed. I'm glad I was still able to participate as a manager this year. The distraction came at a time when I needed it most. Great league, great competition and great people ... Good luck this season!

We are crushing it on the draft! Already through 22+ rounds in a week. Now that we're more than 2/3 of the way through, I wanted to bring back PSU's earlier question. How are folks feeling about their core team build to this point? At this stage, there HAS to have been a few snipes that have occurred. Any surprise reaches or bargains, IYO? Personally, the last turn was my first snipe fest. I'd expected Realmuto to be there since Varga and Isotope both had C's rostered already. My fallback was the Swiss Army Knife, Willi Castro. Both gone with the 2 picks before mine. Sigh... Had to unexpectedly pivot to shoring up Holds. IMO: Biggest Reach - Xavier Edwards, 5th rd - What was I thinking? Limited track record and has already had one foot injury. Blinded by the speed possibilities - a pure "cross your fingers" pick at an expensive price tag. Biggest Maybe - A.J. Puk, 9th rd - Good selection in general, but too early? I'm guessing he would have still been there for at least 2-3 more rounds. Might be wrong though. If he becomes the closer or a major holds collector while working out of an SP slot, that'll make it a good value. Biggest Bargain - Brandon Woodruff, 20th rd - If he returns healthy within the first month or so of the season, could be an absolute steal and a 3 year keeper.

For me - I'm typically not going to immediately respond between 10:00pm and 8:00am, +/- an hour on any given day.

My phone is never silenced by personal choice and habit. Over the past few years with my wife's medical woes, I had to be reachable at all times. I also have on-call responsibilities for work. Pinging me doesn't necessarily result in an immediate response if I'm otherwise pre-occupied, though. I've never felt overwhelmed by league texts, so no complaints from me. Yes, I get the occasionally redundant "you're up" texts, but that's fine and doesn't bother me in the least. One thing that HAS occasionally bothered me is folks forgetting that we all live in different time zones. Getting pinged/woken up at 11pm+ ET (I'm typically in bed by 10-10:30) to make a pick kind of sucks. That being said, I've probably been a too early alarm clock for some of our MT/PT managers myself over the years - LOL.
