Football is a team sport and a business. Every paid employee plays a roll. The Patriots as a business are run impeccably. They read the market, develop from within, and also have the best coach and qb in the league. The last point is the clincher and also a chicken/egg conundrum. One doesn't happen without the other. That said, name a team the Pats haven't embarrassed? Better yet name the last time you were surprised they did it.

As far as the "thin" talent pool is concerned, play a smaller league. Contrary to what certain league size heads preach, it takes every bit as much strategy and research and forces as many tough decisions assuming everyone tries.

That's a great hall if Gurley stays dormant. But remember he did what he did mostly in the last 10 games last year. I still think he could do it again.

Roster in sig. I didn't draft any of my current WRs. Started the season with Gurley and the Murray cousins in the mix and moved Demarco for Kelvin week 2. Cut Lat for JStew and only sort of regret it. Swapped Gurley for Julio as I mentioned elsewhere on this board. 6-1 in sole possession of 1st place with the points lead. 6 teams are 3-4 and I beat 5 of them. Currently hoping to secure Mike Evans and Lamar Miller to take this season home.
