  1. Week 10:

    • Your Mom             95.25
    • Team BattleFox   94.95

    Week 13:

    • The Meerkats       88.10
    • Team BattleFox   88.05

Week 14: Meets Your Mom in the first round of the playoffs.

    • Your Mom             109.50
    • Team BattleFox   109.85

As you can see, I've won/lost in 3 games by a total of 0.70 Fpts. Two against the same team.

I've never seen so many tight games. Anyone else had tight games this year?

    Cheers

  2. In the league I play we score 6pts for a passing TD and 1pt for 20yds passing. In this case I'd start Rivers.

If your league 4pts/TD and 1pt/25yrds I go Hill. The risk is KC jump out to a big lead and NO put Winston in to air it out downfield.

    Cheers

  3. I have two positions to fill this week, RB and a RB/WR/TE Flex. Standard scoring.

My original plan was Carson and Mostert but with the Washington defence playing well now I'm not sure.

I have Wilson Jr. on my bench, is starting both SF RBs an option against Dallas?

Other options are Elliott and McLaurin. Elliott's a no, but McLaurin could start in the flex spot with either Carson or Mostert.

    Hope that make sense.

    Cheers

  4. Robb.

Thanks for sending the spreadsheet through, very interesting.

Am I right in assuming that all defences are treated as neutral?

    An alternate use: -

If you ranked each team, (1 been best), defensively by position, (one spreadsheet per position), would this then give you a QB SOS, RB SOS etc.

The reds would by tough games and the grey easy.

    Handy for streaming any position.

    Cheers

PS Drafted MIN & NE in the 13th & 14th rounds.

Spread sheet suggest using IND and JAC after excluding rostered defences.

  5. Hi D-Boy.

How well do you think you would do vs your opponent if you left the roster spot empty?

If you think you'd still win then the RB doesn't matter.

If you think you'd lose by less than Millers avg pts/wk then start Miller, it's the safe option.

If you think you'd lose by more than Millers avg pts/wk then start Murray as he has more upside. If he gets pulled early due to the injury it dosn't matter, you are going to lose anyway.

I hpe that logic makes sence.

  6. Hi all.

I have Foster and Hopkins. I also have the Ravens DST.

Should I play all 3 and hope that if one side has a bad day the other one has a good day, rob Peter to pay Paul?

Or will they cancel each other out?

My other option is to start Landry at WR and the Miami DST.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers JTF

  7. Hi drmidd.

    I'm in the same boat.

Looking round the rankings RG3 seem to be floating to the the top with Cam coming in second. If you look at the projections it's the other way round.

Not sure I'd trust RG3 but he does have the match up. Cam vs Cle is not good but it may force him to run and this makes me think he'd get near the 20 pt mark. Cle also starting Johnny Jambogie and if that offence stalls like last week Cam should have plenty of opportunity to run/throw.

If Cam doesn’t start I’m not sure I’d go with Anderson.

I also have Eli but its vs the Rams but if you check the last 3 QBs, Carr, McCoy and Stanton. Have these poor performances made the Rams DST look better than they are? He might throw 2 or 3 INTs but he can get the ball to ODB Jr then he might throw 2 or 3 TDs.

To be honest I might just throw some dice but based on the above my list is:-

    1. Cam
    2. Eli
    3. RG3

Not sure if this helps or just cloud things more.

Note: My league scoring has 1 pt for 20yds passing and 6pts per TD pass. Running as standard.

  8. I'm holding MIA DST for wk 16 but the SOS, (last 5 wks), tool indicates MIN as a red opponent.

Checking the Minnesota FF Points Scored by position over the last 5 weeks all but TE are lower than the NFL average.

Anyone now why a team that scores less FF points than the NFL average is a negative matchup Vs a DST which scores above NFL average?

    Cheers JTF

  9. Allen has a good bet Vs OAK and all the pundits like Quick.

I need one from Fitzgerald, Crabtree or Beckham Jr.

The QB situation at ARI is a big ? and Crabtree is struggling with injury. I'll answer my own question and go with Beckham Jr as he has the most upside.

    Cheers
