Have to adapt to a changing economy. UPS ended their huge 30 year contract with Amazon this year due to losing money. So, the workforce is not needed. Amazon will have to add to their workforce, of course they pay much less than UPS. Right now there are 7.5 million good waged skilled trades jobs that will stay open in the coming decade due to lack of a trained workforce. That 120K 4 year liberal arts degree will get you a nice clerk job at TJ Maxx.

No BS, When I was in college I would protest anything for cash if offered. The abortion protests are always looking for help.

That does not change what Portland has become. When I was there last year the once vibrant downtown area is a ghost town in the evenings with many bars and restaurants closing early now. so sad...

My buddy from college who usually votes right used to get paid to go protest even though it was against his belief's he did not care as he needed cash. It was not much usually between 100-200, then as soon as he got paid he would split. All you had to do is hold a sign and pace back and forth and act like you care about the cause. Said many there would protest anything as long as they got paid.

I saw a little rally on a street near us, looked like a gaggle of numnuts and losers wanting people to honk their horns. Then they started yelling and screaming at vehicles that would not honk. It was pretty funny to see how agitated they were. Was not a good look for lefties..it was embarrassing.

The exodus from NY is already happening. NY has been losing population and this will speed things up. Problem is they are losing the people who pay the most taxes.

That always happens at protests. You have the protesters and the counter protesters. They will argue with their stupid signs and when it is over nobody gives a fock about any of them.
