My aunt lives in Austin and is a somewhat attractive woman for her age but has always been 30-40 lbs overweight. I only see her 1-2 times a year, had not seen her in maybe 8 months when we went to her home, when I walked in, I was shocked. Did not look like the same person as she had lost at least 40 lbs. if not more, she looked great. We stayed with her for 2 days and in those 2 days she barely ate. First night we she wanted to take us to a steakhouse, she did not order an entree, got a side salad and a baked potato, ate most of the salad and maybe 1/4 of the potato. Next morning we went out for breakfast and while everyone was eating, she had coffee and an order of toast that she ate 1 piece. That night at her home she made a great spread for us and a couple others, lots of apps. I watched her and she just nibbled. Then had a couple vodka and sodas and was pretty loaded. I talked to her and asked if she was OK and she told me she had never been able to lose weight and was on Ozempic, and rotating it with another of the same type. When she is on it, she said she has no desire at all for food. Has to force herself to eat. Put filet and lobster in front of her and said she can`t eat it. She loves the way she looks not but not sure this is a long term healthy solution.

I agree 100% Squid has convictions, and tells "the truth" as he perceives things even if the truth, he perceives is way out of whack. I always said no matter how out of touch and wrong some of his posts are he is consistent. Squid is very close minded in that aspect and only sees things with his blinders on.

We need to drop another 5500 points to match the 2022 crash so hopefully that does not happen. Trump does need to shut his mouth. I agree about 2020. But Biden ran almost entirely on a once in a 100 year COVID situation. Had COVID not happened Trump probably would have won again. Biden did win, but it was obvious the last 2 years he was in severe decline as Jake Tapper even wrote about. We hardly ever saw Biden and rarely live. Pierre just stated she had almost zero contact with Biden after she took over from Psaki. That she just got briefing on what to report, that is unheard of. There is no doubt he was drunk, but sobriety tests are made for failure..sober people fail these tests. After 15 minutes of testing, it is the same. Ok we are going to have you blow in the portable breathalyzer. I know..my mom was sick and I was driving home from the hospital at 1am and got pulled over. Had zero to drink and was put through a sobriety test, I failed standing on one leg trying to touch my nose. The guy made me blow and it came up zero, he let me go. I wanted to say "What about the reason you stopped me for going 10 over??" Cut the BS and just blow the portable and see where we are at.

I am always concerned. There are up and downs as it has always been. Tariffs won`t last. Recession has been predicted for the last 2 years or more as the economy has been over stimulated since 2021. Time will tell.

This is mild compared to that crash. I remember people were in total panic then. If you watch the market day in and day out you already know it is a roller coaster.
