I don't hate it. Cooks and Adams picking up where they left off last year,- or not - might determine your season. Landry, Hill, Miller, should be solid. Ryan and Stafford are similar to me - both rely primarily on one receiver and are confidence players. Start the home guy each week.

Nate Washington, Ted Ginn, Kamar Aiken, Willie Snead Jarius Wright Actually, being able to name them usually disqualifies you from guessing the right one.

I'm going to be that guy and say Stevie Johnson, just because. Wright might be highest floor and Decker highest ceiling. Jets might get in front and then just run. SD might not have a TE and could be cautious with Gordon. Rivers and Johnson could fall in love this year.

For a couple of weeks now, I have thought he might be more injured than has been reported and might miss at least a week, so I grabbed VJax in my final draft. I had Evans last season and of course he was fantastic but he now seems to be one of those guys you always have to check for hamstring health.

Jones. He only has to pass Alf to have the gig. And he will get 3rd down work either way. Michael needs to pass Randle and McFragile. Sorry, I'm laughing, Of course he will pass them when one or both get injured.. But there are other variables - he was let go by Seattle for a reason. Michael might be one of those very talented guys who sits behind a stud Like Lynch and you're sure they will boom when they get a chance - but they just don't.

He started to wear down at the end of last season. 600 yards 4 TDs in Weeks 1-6 (6 games) then 500 2 TDs in Weeks 7-17 (10 games). But they don't have many other receiving options. Perriman is behind where he should be and Aiken and Brown are hit and miss. Although he is tough and Trestman helps. I like him early until Perriman eats into his numbers.

You might need Gordon to pan out as advertised or NE to suddenly become reliable with their RB usage (and use LGB) Otherwise very sweet. Im high on Hopkins in a couple of leagues and hope for crissakes that Hoyer can get the ball to him. Decker has also been a lil under the radar.

I would have drafted around Johnson, because by then you already had Hilton. And I presume you had your eye on Gore 5 picks later.. Eifert Agholar and Abdullah are good X factors. Woody is always a solid PPR flex. Miami D has a sweet first 5 weeks. Potential problem if Eifert bombs. But otherwise solid.

Mine is a secret, but Im so confident (NOT) that I went two different ways in 2 leagues. Oh hell I went Denver and Miami. But week 1 ALWAYS throws up something unexpected. I get more confident mid season when the choices become fewer. if I survive that long.

I got Charles Clay very late, something like Round 13/14 in a 12 team league. Bills will run til they drop but someone will get targets outside of Watkins. And who ever knows how much Harvin will contribute. It's not my craziest ever selection. Unless I got Gronk or Olsen, I was prepared to wait a long time on TE's this year.

Someone you might want to consider who is in a VERY similar situation is Benny Cunningham STL. He's no LT but the situation is favourable. Looks like he will get the backfield to himself in week 1 if Tre Mason cannot go and is still on a lot of wires. Less wear and younger than Williams and Steelers might air it out more. Just a thought.

Ryan Mathews played a full season in 2013 and before that missed about 10 games over 3 years. Last season was actually more of an anomaly than the norm. "Never stayed healthy" is erroneous hyperbole.

Matthews and Royal. On Royal, if you don't start him when Jeffery is injured/gimpy, when WOULD you start him.

While Gronk is THE standout TE this season, I think it's still a reach to put him #1 overall. You also hit upon why expectations should be dampened a little. He's the main focus, which means he's also the main focus of defences. If you recall, in the season Gronk was injured, Graham was easily the standout TE, and he was going around #10 in most drafts. which pretty much matched his year. I think the deep position this year is WR, even after Nelson and Benjamin went down. I think if you don't grab one of the top tier RBs with one of your first 2 picks, you're in relative trouble. They really fall away imo. I think you can more easily offset any 'loss' you take having a middling TE (of which there are plenty this season) with any number of very good WRs that are draftable in mid to later rounds..

Matt Jones RB in my 12 Team PPR just concluded. I'm a fan of Alf, but the potential to overtake was too tempting to resist. Last night, in my other (deeper) league - Benny Cunningham RB as a sneak RB flex while Mason is doubtful for maybe 1/2 weeks (also depends on health of my other flex type RB - CJ Spiller).
