Yet today 3 years after Jan 6 some Jan 6 defendants, and I will say their guilt is all but assured, are still in pre- trial confinement. There is nothing in the constitution about back logged cases being a reason to deny anyone a speedy trial. That’s on the government to find a way.

Isn’t it weird that there are still people being arrested for Jan 6, trials that haven’t even begun concerning it, and yet the democrats ended the Jan 6 commission, an investigative body, when they lost the house?

I remember after 9/11 that it was revealed that Bush had received a briefing in august of 2001 saying that Bin Laden was determined to launch an attack within the United States. He was vilified for that by the left, as he should have been. Fast forward to today and the FBI director has been in front of congress for the third time warning of attacks within the US.
