It was nothing like the speech he gave at the DNC in 2004 that put him on the path to stardom. People chose to cling to that, overlooking what he actually did when he had the opportunity. His unifying message went out the window as soon as he had the opportunity to unify. Deriding people, not the other political party members, but actual citizens, constantly. He started the punching down that Hillary and then Biden have embraced. And you wonder why we are at each other’s throat. It ain’t just Trump. He’s the result, not the reason.
