Update from previous post-- I started loading some QB data yesterday to get my process down. I realized that the Huddle stats don't include att/comp so if your scoring system uses more data, you may need to look somewhere else. Also Huddle only supplies data on about the top 45 QBs compared to 65+ with Football Guys and even more in FFToday. I imagine its the same for other positions. The missing player stats can mess up your projections if you don't add something to fill the holes. I wind up copying over the stats from FFToday. All the missing players are from the bottom of the list anyway, so it shouldn't matter too much unless you are in a huge league. Later, Stock

Ice, etc- Last year I used FFtoday, Huddle, and Tuffs. I think Tuffs went under as I can't find them this year. I anticipate using football guys as a replacement this year. Huddle is a pay service, but as far as I can tell, Football guys projections are free. We run our league on CBSsportsline and although I am very pleased with their site, I have never liked their commentary or projections (IMHO). The problem with averaging (as stated above) is that it dilutes the numbers. My hope is that it will lower some of the crazy projections, and the agreeable solid players will rise to the top. No one set of projections is perfect from year to year so I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket. Good luck this year. Stock

Mike- I'm a fan of VBD too and would love to see it re-incorporated. When you say next version, do you mean 1.1 in a couple days/weeks or do you mean next year? Our League has a bonus position that can be a QB, RB, WR, or TE. The scoring is set up so that top QBs score better than equally ranked RBs in most cases so it's pretty standard to see 2 QBs starting (ugh.). Because of this wrinkle, the standard VBD stuff isn't going to cut it. I loved last year's version. I ordered this year's but I don't see it ranking as well without the custom VBD. Thanks, Stockyard
