Gerald Everett, TE Rams Was McVay's very first draft pick for a reason, because he sees Jordan Reed in him and McVay's offense is at its peak when it has a stud TE.

I think the thing the team gains is more in game experience for Foles, which has immense value. I don't think he's good enough to just think that he can automatically turn it on in the playoffs against elite competition, so sitting him for multiple weeks could just have as much opposite affect in my opinion. He needs to get the rust off, practice running the playbook, build rapport with his receivers, etc. I don't think they sit him, especially considering he's already sitting the first round of the playoffs anyway with the bye.

nobody thinks it could be Joe Williams instead of Breida that takes the starting RB job in SF if Hyde leaves? remember it was Williams that was supposed to be the guy before he got hurt, and Breida didn't exactly light it up this year with his opportunities. there's a reason that Williams was a4th rd pick and Breida was undrafted. just something to think about.

Only my 1st (Gordon), 2nd (AJ Green), 3rd (Gronk) , and 7th rd picks (R Wilson) are still starting on my playoff roster this week; almost no trading in our league too so over half of my roster led by free agents.

I don't think its that unreasonable in a redraft either. A guy gets a Top 3 pick so he takes Bell Fears around Gurley push him below guys like Ajayi, Howard, Murray and that 2nd tier of WRs, so he could easily be there for the Bell owner in Rd 2. Ingram was all over the board like you said due to the AP/kamara questions; he actually went in Rd 7 in our draft.

First, don't forget that the Vikes beat NO Week 1 in MN 29-19. You can try to argue that NO didn't have Kamara at full kilt yet and that the Defense hadn't gelled yet, but that still counts for something. Also, I believe the Vikes win that game Sun against Carolina if it was at home. Too many mental mistakes yet truly outplayed the Panthers. Don't crown the Saints just yet.

yeah I know that Keenum will have to show up in the playoffs and make some plays, and that we can't lean on just the defense. that's why I'm still holding off on any blind enthusiasm; well that coupled with a sad sad history of epic failures we've had to live through.

You Eagles homer, me Vikes homer...but I disagree that we don't have a real stud at any position. Our defense has multiple top level players at each level, all capable of taking over their matchup and carrying the team at a given opportunity. Rhodes locking down the other team's top receiver means the QB has to hold the ball longer which opens up space for Griffen, Hunter and Barr to rush the passer, which allows Smith and Kendricks the ability to dominate the open field and capitalize on mistakes. And that's not even counting Linval Joseph at NT, who might be the best individual player on that defense. The offense is never going to be great, but what differentiates this year's team from the one from a few years back that lost to Sea, is that we get more TDs in the redzone. We had a great defense then too (granted younger) but our offense settled for FGs so we were never able to put teams away. With an improved o-line and just enough playmakers, we're getting those valuable TDs at a higher clip. I like the Eagles alot though too, so should be fun playoffs. Good luck to you guys.

I agree with this; wouldn't trade. I like to have an advantage at specific position(s), and then piece together the rest vs trying to have a balanced roster. Knowing you have by far the best slew of RBs can keep you competitive every week, while you try to find sleeper WRs to supplement.

I'm playing against Kamara this week, so immediately started giggling about this thread (I know, terrible) when I got the notification that Kamara went down. Last week of regular season and I already have playoff spot locked so not playing with urgency this week, but still don't like losing, so should help me.

there's no veto in our league so I'm not asking in regards to that (plus not really veto worthy anyways), but it is a real head scratcher so I'm curious to what your guys' thoughts are. not looking for a "let the owner's run their team" comment, but just an actual opinion on the merits/2nd half outlooks of the players. First place (6-2) team sending out: Keenan Allen, Demarco Murray 8th palce team (3-5) sending out: Nelson Agholar, Jonathan Stewart interested in why our 1st place team would do such an obvious buy high/sell low type deal. thoughts?
