Overall, the league looked like it wasn’t quite ready for regular season. too much of the game was close to the line of scrimmage, generally heavy rush or play calling that made for plodding games with too much short passing and punting for my liking. good points made about shared backfields and longer field goals. I’ll add that the refs have added even more sensitivity around sportsmanship and avoiding late hits. Also lots of quarterback slides. on to week two … it needs to get better … which SNF and MNF games set the tone for.
