Yeah, garappolo was my last pick, I took a shot on him making top 10 and being good trade bait at some time. Or I can drop him later for someone if need be. Last pick doesn't matter much so I took a shot. Normally i wouldn't have more than 2 but I'm a 49er fan and he was just staring at me the last few rounds lol

10 team standard redraft league. Start 1qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex 1 te 1 def 1 k Qb: Watson, newton, garapolo Rb: Zeke, cook, breida, Duke Johnson Wr: Beckham, thielen, Lockett, fuller, Pettis, Deebo Te: Walker K: fairbairn Def:49ers
-
I drafted Zeke 4th overall on Sunday with all the talk of his imminent signing. I'm still confident he will sign soon (why else would he fly out if they weren't on the cusp of a deal) but right now I have brieda in for him so I feel ok if he misses the week. If he signs then now I have to decide between brieda and Lockett at the flex spot

yeah, i had the 18th pick in a work league and have never been in anything bigger than a 12 team league. Everyone gets drafted!

Should The Commissioner Be Able To Do These Things? (2 SCENARIOS)
J-Money replied to the lone star's topic in FFToday Board
I'm not going to vote, the obvious answer is "no he shouldn't do that" but what you should do is often different than what gets done. In my leagues I let people run their team how they see fit. If there are suspicious trades I reach out to the owners and ask them to explain, and as long as its not ridiculous I let it thru. Sometimes the guy who you think is getting bent over a barrel is really the guy who initiated the trade proposal. Just because you think you are offering more than someone else, it doesn't mean THAT particular owner values your players the same. As stated before, if you are in a garbage league, leave and set up a better one. -
I get it, I actually debated with myself before I made the switch (never bench ur studs!). I was just commenting to show it's not because it's always a bad pick
-
I disagree, I drafted both brees and big Ben and am going with big Ben this week. I don't believe the brees pick is bad, just like my luck againt the lesser Cleveland defense
-
Yeah, drafting late was especially tough this year
-
I went with Hooper late, Doyle and Fleener are both still available and I keep going back and forth on picking one of them up but think I'll sit pat till after the first week at least
-
I had the Alshon owner trying hard to trade with me but I wouldn't accept his low ball offers. Just went out and traded marshall, Hyde, and John brown (who I just picked up off waivers) for dez and aj green. I'd rather wait on dez than have any bear on my team this year
-
I am the Gordon owner, and it is a redraft league. I would never do it if it was a keeper. Gordon has gotten 3 td in 2 games and don't expect his stock to get any better while production goes down (I doubt he gets 24 td this year). If last years leading rusher is available I think I have to at least look at it and consider the risk
-
I'm contemplating it. Just gotta wait and see how bad the tear really is. Peterson could be a helluva pickup if he can come back 100 in 4 weeks and Bradford gains confidence in the offense
-
The person with AP in my league is freaking out. He wants bortles and Melvin for AP and Russell Wilson. I get bell back soon, but not sure I want Hyde being my only backup if AP doesnt come back

Los Angeles at San Francisco: In-Game Discussion
J-Money replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I was unfortunately working so I couldn't catch the game... Vance McDonald had only 1 catch but for a td at least. Did they even look his way at all? -
Where is Josh Gordon & Le'Veon Bell getting drafted in your league?
J-Money replied to gpann101's topic in FFToday Board
Snagged bell at 2.08 and Gordon at 9.03 -
I broke my Cardinal rule in week 1 of the playoffs... With Hopkins appearing to be Fitzpatrick's go to guy, and them playing jax, I decided to play him over TY Hilton since he was facing off against Haden I'm all but assured the loss. Anyone else over think it today?
-
I thought about going with Hilton over McCoy at the flex spot but I thought chip might put on a show for everyone back home in the Pacific Northwest
-
I could put Jennings in for him but I'm a proponent of never bench your studs so I wouldn't consider it at all. I'm just surprised to see such negativity
-
Who has the cajones to bench forte? Most everywhere I see talk about him this week, it's about how stingy the lions d is and how they will focus on him while forcing cutler to win it thru the air. It would be nice to see some of these "experts'" rosters and see if they really bench the guys they don't like

Lesean McCoy: Biggest Bust in FF History?
J-Money replied to Gratefulegg1973's topic in FFToday Board
I wouldn't say he's been a complete bust, definitely been a disappointment for those that drafted him. I targeted him as a buy low candidate a few weeks ago, after Ridley got hurt and vareen had a big game, and got him as a throw in to make it TY Hilton and shady for vereen and Ahmad Bradshaw. Shady has gone from the 26th ranked rb to the 17th since, hopefully the trend continues as their o line gets healthy -
Considering how horrible his team has looked and he may not be coming back when expected, Im not surprised you can't get much for him right now... If he comes back and looks like the #5 rb he was when he went down you should be able to move him relatively easy
-
He has Julio jones and Steve smith still and McCoy is the 25th ranked rb. Bradshaw is #6 and vereen looks to be getting extra touches with Ridley out. So I took the worst of his top 3 wr and his time sharing/underachieving 1st round pick and shored up his rbs and doesn't have to rely on McCoy or Khiry robinso
-
I traded him and vereen for shady and Hilton today. I needed wr help and was trying all kinds of ish
-
I finally gave up and dropped his ass this week...whoops
-
I hope he does well, I just traded Bradshaw and vereen for him and TY Hilton!
