    Frankie Gore

Gore looked very impressive today. I wonder where that guy is that said Norv Turner is over-rated in producing good RB numbers? Gore has talent and Turner's scheme is so money, especially in PPR. Let's see how far Lamont Jordan drops this year without all those little dump offs and screens. Only problem is it is so likely Gore gets hurt. I only have him in one league bc his durabilty is such a ??

Anyone drafting Antowain Smith in here?

I am being forced to carry too many Hou RB's right now and to be honest I don't think it will get any better. The way DD's knee is acting I'd be surprised if we see much of him for a while. Add to that the fact that the rest of the backs will more than likely split, share and take turns carrying the ball, and you have a nightmare. I wish I could wash my hands of it but I am better off playing this out as I won't get any value for any of them, including DD. I agree about one thing. A Smith will see more time than the rest early. We FFers just want to be the one to jump on the next big thing.

A homer's warning about the SF backfield

If memory serves wasn't Gore the 3rd down back last year? Also I do believe runs on 3rd and long are easier than that on 1st and 10. Having said that, Gore looked quicker to the hole and had better vision that Barlow but I also thought Barlow ran very hard last year. I actually think the RB spot is one of the few positions for SF with some talent. I think they have improved and I think Nolan will get it going but I think this year will be very up and down. I can see them being much improved and competitive but still not very good. A year from now I think we will see a decent team. If I had to chose one I'd go with Barlow, but I'd probably rather take a chance on someone else this year. Now next year I think whoever the RB is will have some good value. Love the info and will certainly use it if any of my leagues lead me down that path.

    Texans News

Is there any RB on the roster that he isn't "very impressed with?" Maybe the order in which he talks about them helps us figure out the pecking order a bit. Does anyone else get the impression he isn't that high on Morency? I can't help but think that DD and Smith will be the main guys but if DD goes down I just think that Smith will stay with the role he has with DD and one of the other guys will try to fill DD's spot. Thanks for the info.
  5. Has anyone else complained about not getting the premium channels with their subscription? What stipulations do they have about giving the premium channels with a SundayTicket sub? I just wonder because when I saw the commercial I don't recall them saying anything like, "for first time subcribers only."
  6. Tough call but I would really think about Tiki at the turn. I understand it is a dynasty league and all but I think people over-react to age when they draft in a dynasty. I have Rudi in a PPR and while he is consistant (very improtant from a 1st rounder) he can frustrate since he rarely catches a pass. You'd be shocked by how good Chris Perry is in a PPR format. He would be a nice late round grab just for depth.

    Nice game FWP..

I am sure he isn't doing as well as these 2 studs you have (probably taken before fwp) - A.Smith, Drougahns. I don't know who Drougahns is but he doesn't seem to be doing too well.
