ABC's Terry Moran suspended after journalist slams Trump
Mark Davis replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
For all the pearl clutching you'd thing Moran has been jailed. This is exactly why the media has such distrust. Of course the Biden competency lies just brought it all to a head where they could no longer deny any bias existed. -
Kilmar Abrego Garcia Thread - Garcia could be deported to Uganda
Mark Davis replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
Like when they were throwing items at federal vehicles and trying to impede them from leaving. Or perhaps it was when some of them threatened the NewsNation reporters on the ground. -
Notice how those who want law and order restored are represented with a Nazi flag and scowling white people. The propaganda is getting stronger.

If so, were you this upset when the Obama Administration killed Anwar al-Awlaki? Personally I was not. Sometimes you have to get rid of bad people. I tip my hat to Obama for doing what should have been done and needed to be done. So let's just be consistent. Also, the guy beat his wife up. She wouldn't even deny it on the fluff interview. We all know he's a trashbag of a human. It's why you're losing the PR battle on this and Trump wants this issue. Yet you think the public understands what you're deeming the "real issues" better than Trump, the one who so many call an idiot yet is wealthy and won two elections. The majority don't want this guy here and frankly are fine whether he's in jail or some third world country. -

The music is playing and the left marches off the political cliff backing a guy who at the most generous outcome is an illegal alien who beat up his wife. Yet you think Trump is the one with egg on his face. -
Kilmar Abrego Garcia Thread - Garcia could be deported to Uganda

Trump says a lot of things for effect that aren't literal. I supported Trump but I don't take everything he says literally so I don't feel lied to, if anyone does they need to quit taking politicians literally. Barack Obama told Americans if they liked their doctor they could keep him, I knew better than that as well. I admitted at the time, Trump could use his relationship with Bukele to return Garcia. That was obvious. It's also clear that if it weren't for that relationship, El Salvador would have no responsibility to return their citizen to the US. Both things can be, and were true at the same time. Now, more importantly what do you think caused Trump to bring him back yesterday? Was it that suddenly the weight of the court and pressure were too much for him just on that day? Or is it more likely he has been told of the evidence against Garcia and wants this to be in the news cycle to gain political advantage? I think given his track record it's pretty clear. You can say this issue is a loss for Trump if you want, but IMO this issue is a loser for Democrats. Trump is dictating the terms and the timing for when this is occurring, you should ask yourself if this is a loser, why is he doing it? Trump obviously believes it because every action he's taken is keeping this in the forefront of the news cycle. Even pundits for the left are warning this isn't good for them. -

I agree. Trump could always get him back not because we had the authority, but because of Trump's relationship with Bukele. I never disputed that either. But politically keeping this story front and center is a huge winner for Trump. It's like he is the Pied Piper getting the Dems to march publicly behind the most unsympathetic figures. -
Parents call out unfairness as trans pitcher throws shutout in Minnesota softball state quarterfinals

My first thought is she's wanting to create a profile to have a life after gymnastics as some sort of commentator or political figure. She is married to an NFL player so she knows that the narrative that there is no proof biological males have advantages athletically over females is nonsense. She may be a little jealous of Gaines' platform and looks and wants to create one for herself on the left. It's going to work as far as getting followers and attention. She also happens to be from the only sport I can think of where being physically smaller is an advantage. -

Yeah, at first I thought I just disagreed with him. It's worse than that. -

The guy won the state title today. Apparently they have a guy for a coach too. He should be ashamed of himself. -

Only you would get a pickle for a human trafficker. Oh BTW, Trump now has your side of the aisle cheering for this guy, that's gonna be a real winner. Let me know if you want to take some action on how this court case is going to play out -
Jake Tapper admits he didn't cover Biden's cognitive decline enough, claims to 'look back on it with humility'
Mark Davis replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
What's amazing is we had a significant percentage of Americans who believed them, despite evidence to the contrary being right in front of their eyes. I guess they really believed the "cheap fake" narrative. How anyone could watch Biden, specifically on his bad days, and not objectively believe he had mental acuity issues is beyond me. I'm not sure if it's they wanted to believe the media or if it was that he was Trump's opponent so because it was the opposite of Trump you had to be all in, or some mix of those factors. -

I can find where his expired and a story saying she applied for a work visa. Maybe she got it, I can't find the details. But in this case it makes sense the government would want to revoke and deport them. I believe the Department of State has the authority to revoke visas. -

Is the family not here illegally? My understanding is they were here illegally to begin with. If that's the case, I'm not sure why they couldn't be deported. -

Every time I think the left can't find a bigger loser to back politically, the next case study shows me wrong. There's no polling yet, but I'll go out on a limb and say the family of a terrorist who was here illegally to begin with, are not going to be with who the majority of Americans side with. -

Girls' track and field athletes don't stand on podium next to trans athlete at Oregon state championship
Mark Davis replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
Apparently in California it's ok if you're a male to participate and win in girls track but if you're a girl who celebrates in a way that officials deem inappropriate in the moment, well you're out of luck and disqualified https://www.ksbw.com/article/salinas-sprinter-disqualified-state-title-celebration/64949936 -

So your argument is you're only screwing over one classification of girls? I'm not sure why that's alright and what you're arguing for but it's a bizarre argument to me. -

I know that in our state, slots for sectionals and state meets are limited. So if a biological male is involved, it takes the spot of a female. There are a fixed number of entries allowed for the top qualifiers in each event. So even if this male qualifies in the furthest north section in the state, someone in the furthest south section could be impacted because their wild card slot could be taken. A lot of girls here their HS goal is to one day make the state meet. It sounds like a low bar, but we had one girl who got a Division I scholarship not make it until her senior year and she was only about three slots from the last qualifier in one of her events. Some of these meets are extremely hard to make and are decided by times, even if it's from other sections ran at different locations. So they don't even have to be in the same area to be impacted. I'll use one event I know about bc of my daughter's involvement. To make the 1600m girls finals in our largest class, the qualifying time is 5:45. Well, just because you run a 5:45 at sectionals doesn't qualify you. Each section has so many slots (5), so if they have enough girls qualify, those girls make it. So let's say that fifth girl runs 5:25, everyone after 5:25 until 5:45 goes into a wild card pool with similar people from all the other sections. There are four of those statewide plus if any section fails to qualify enough runners to use all its slots that can add to the four. I can't recall a time the state meet ever had empty slots, so 5:45 won't get you there. So by default, anyone who qualifies knocks someone else out. -

One key is it happened in Boulder. I'm not always for the rednecks, but something like this wouldn't happen where I'm from. That nutjob would have gotten in maybe 2-5 minutes in a public area yelling about Palestine and some good ol' boy would have rolled up and knocked him out and nothing else would have happened. It's not even really a parody, it wouldn't happen around here. If he wanted to attack/kill someone he had better start out firing right off the rip. -

Well, we have a generation who was taught that diversity is righteous no matter what. To me it's akin to the equality/equity debate. Diversity is fine and I'm all for welcoming someone who wants to be here legally and assimilate or someone who earns their spot via merit. But it's idiotic to not realize there are dangerous regions of the globe where entire populaces are raised to hate the West. We shouldn't be accepting people from there, nor from China who controls who they send to our country. To say that you are immediately labeled as racist or an Islamophobe. -

They aren't raised to embrace our culture. They don't want to assimilate, trying to bring them here will never work. Well, not if you want the West to survive. -
