    Bears vs Lions

5 pages of this? None of you should ever complain about this site crashing again.

Calling all FF experts. How much stock do

With regard specifically to Rogers v. Roy or Mike Williams, why even bother reading tea leaves to see who Joey Harrington trusted more? He won't target either of them for another pass this year. Other than that, I think target #s are a very valuable tool once you factor in the QB.
  3. It's getting easier and easier to believe the rumors...

I think that that commish in our league is cheatin

For the record, CBS was hit by Hurricane Wilma, and had a bunch of stuffed messed up that I saw -- especially on Mon night... Also, I don't know what scoring system you use, but it's possible that the differentials are just errors that have since been corrected. For instance, they NEVER score the BLFGTD correctly until Tues, and PHI had one of those this week... I'd suggest that part of your investigation include the scores of some bench guys that may have been switched, to see if the "cheating" math adds up.

    Tampa's Simms

McCown was certainly worth a start in Mexico, but I don't think it's reasonable to argue that Simms will have nearly as many tools. Something like 18-28 230 1-1 looks reasonable to me. I don't think Rattay is worth worrying about, except that TB's D will know SF's whole playbook.

    Josh McCown or Kurt Warner?

Pasquarelli's Tip Sheet said yesterday that the players know who the starter will be -- Green has made up his mind, but he's just keeping the media/Titans in the dark... whatever rumors are out there (an I haven't heard any except in this thread) are probably true.

Padre means Father in Spanish not Priest

Guys, lay off IrishVic. He just got done with his first marking period of 6th grade Spanish; he learned some vocab, and wanted to show his new friends at FFToday.

    Yahoo and Aaron Brooks

Aaron Brooks is my #1 buy-low candidate at this point. The media is down on him, the Saints are bad... And he'll absolutely kill you in at least 2 more games this year. But for the other 9 weeks, he's going to put up VERY respectable numbers, especially if you can live with 2 INTs and a 55% completion rate. He'll be the 11th-14th best QB in most scoring formats; maybe better if you account for his rushing numbers. If you're currently starting a guy like McNabb, Bulger, or Green, Brooks is worth a look as cheap insurance. And read some stuff about STL's defensive scheming under Vitt... Brooks should have a huge week; this is the simplest coverage system in the league... From Pasquarelli's Tip Sheet: "No one can fault St. Louis interim coach Joe Vitt for streamlining things in an effort to cut down on mental errors and improve communication. But one Rams defender told us before the contest, at the team hotel, it was the "skinniest" game plan he had seen since joining the team, with only three or four coverages installed. Clearly, for Manning, it was like reading a primer. "They mostly stayed Cover 2 the whole game, and I'm glad, because, when they're moving (strong safety Adam) Archuleta all around, it can be real pain," Manning said. " http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/sto...&CMP=ILC-INHEAD ... of course the same could be said about the NO-GB game, and Brooks was terrible there. But he's got a great shot at good #s this week.

    Compiler Issues- Please Help?

I fixed the problem by changing the "1. 100% fftoday" allocation numbers to 50% fftoday, 50% site b.

    Compiler Issues- Please Help?

    Mike -- I think I may be having the same problem... I enetered projections in the "Site B" area, made a custom allocation of 50% FFT and 50% site B, and I'm getting: "Run-time error '1004': Sort method of Range class failed" error, and when I try debugging, I'm taken to: " Range("B5:EU150").Sort Key1:=Range("U5"), Order1:=xlDescending, Key2:=Range("F5") _ , Order2:=xlAscending, Key3:=Range("W5"), Order3:=xlDescending _ , Header:=xlNo, OrderCustom:=1, MatchCase:= _ False, Orientation:=xlTopToBottom " in the MSVB debugger application... I can't see anything wrong here, but I'm certainly no expert.

    auction stats

The auction methodology looks pretty sound to me. I like to track a couple more stats during my auctions: Cap Room Remaining Per Starter (= cap room remaining / # of starters needed), and Accumulated Value Differential per team (= Sum of Diffs for each team). Any tips for integrating these into the Draft Buddy? I know adding rows and columns can be tricky. Another thing I'd love to see would be the ability to "update" auction values throughout the draft. If 5 top RBs all go for $10 more than my auction values, that's $50 that can't buy other players -- which means my values for them (the remaining players) are too high. A function like this would be complicated, since you'd have to re-run your sheets on only the remaining players, I guess.

    Position Weightings

For my league's scoring system, the Compiler tends to overvalue Defenses, TEs, and Kickers in its relative value logic. In years past, there was a "VBD Base Adjust" column to help bring those values back into line. How can I replicate that process in this year's version?
