Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)
Dizkneelande replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Kamala Harris told Liz Cheney, “I also want to thank your father, Vice President Cheney, for his support and for what he has done to serve our country." Cheney is an unrepentant war criminal whose "service" was dedicating his career to waging wars of aggression. And, when he was in office, the Democratic Party called him Darth Vader and now all of a sudden he’s their hero. For phucks sake they made a movie about how friggin awful of a person he is. You’re pathetic -

The people pimping Liz and D!ck Cheney as some type of win care what Antonio Brown thinks. Not a single person in this country is saying “You know I was going to vote for Trump but now that f’ing Cheney has endorsed the I’m gonna vote for her.” What should worry you instead is black men hate Kamala. Also, this - reminds me of the cucks that post here all day. -

If the Twitter files taught us anything it’s that the left is perfectly ok with fascist free speech restrictions as long as it benefits their side and, will completely ignore the uncanny alliance of academics, journalists, intelligence operatives, military personnel, government bureaucrats, NGO workers and tech companies. There’s nothing wrong with military contractors like Mitre being part of the Aspen Institute's "Information Disorder" report along with NGO and academic colleagues. -

We weren’t a welfare state in 1907 with 6 trillion in annual federal spending. There wasn’t even a federal income tax. There were no Medicare/medicaid, social security disability, ebt, section 8, ssi, snap, wic, tanf, Obamacare etc but you know this fatboy. -

Yeah it’s a huge mystery why. Also, The Fox poll is the only one out of 11 that has her up in Georgia. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/georgia/trump-vs-harris -

https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad/ Here’s the original NY Post story blocked by Twitter. No social security number. No home address. Klippinstein does this at a time when lunatics are running around trying to assassinate his running mate. Vance has small children. Nobody should think that is appropriate. -

No it wasn’t you are lying. The NY Post put out the laptop info and Podesta was through Wikileaks and Wikileaks laborers to remove things like you know, home addresses and social security numbers. There’s nothing interesting in the Vance dossier and the only outrageous part is that a “journalist” could be that sloppy. If he left that info out nobody would have given a crap you simp. -

A different way of viewing the race: If you go through the RCP Battleground State Averages, here are the number of polls Kamala Harris leads in: Arizona: 0/6 Georgia: 0/7 Nevada: 2/4 N. Carolina: 3/9 Pennsylvania: 4/12 Michigan: 4/7 Wisconsin: 6/9 -
Title 42 was implemented in March of 2020 and didn’t end until May of 2023. Illegal encounters hit a record high in 2023. You’re obfuscating facts.

Democrats in Congress have been clear won’t do their jobs on the border and the Trump border orders worked. This is fact. Also fact Biden has let in 12m+ in 4 years which have reaped havoc on our communities and the Lankford bill still allowed more of the same, 5k a day not including gotta-ways. How exactly does that bill secure our border? It does the opposite and would be ineffective like every other bill passed by congress in the past 20 years. The only effect they seem to have is additional debt burden on the American taxpayers. Actually 1 bill that was positive that I can think of was TCJA signed by Trump

This may be a good time for a declared “centrist” to finally read Federalist Paper #10. I saved you the time and asked grok to frame it in a dumbed-down context. In our current political landscape, we've seen how deeply divided we can become. Social media, political parties, and special interest groups have all contributed to creating what we might call "factions" - groups of citizens united by some common passion or interest that differs from the rights of others. The Problem: Whenever you get a bunch of people together, they're bound to disagree on stuff. These disagreements often lead to factions. Each faction might push its own agenda, which might not align with the common good. Historically, this could lead to civil unrest or even tyranny by the majority. Examples: Think of how environmental policies can pit urban professionals against rural workers, or how debates on healthcare divide us by income levels or moral beliefs. These aren't just disagreements; they're deep-seated factions with real-world consequences. Madison's Insight: Madison argued that the real problem isn't that people have different opinions or interests; it's that these factions can become so powerful, they override the rights of minorities or the good of the whole. In today's terms, a faction could control social media narratives, influence elections, or push legislation that benefits them over everyone else. Solution in a Modern Democracy: Madison suggested that a large republic, like the United States, could actually help solve this issue. Here's how: Diversity of Interests: In a big country with lots of people, there are countless different interests. This makes it harder for any single faction to take complete control because there are just too many competing viewpoints. Elected Representatives: Instead of direct democracy, where every citizen might vote on every issue, we elect representatives. These reps are supposed to think about the long-term good rather than just following the loudest voices or current trends. They can mediate between factions. Checks and Balances: The structure of government, with its separation of powers, ensures no one branch can be taken over completely by a faction. Each part of government can check the others, preventing any one group from getting too much power. Conclusion: The key to managing factionalism isn't to eliminate differences (that's impossible), but to create a system where no single faction can dominate at the expense of others. Today, this means embracing our diversity, ensuring fair representation, and maintaining a government structure that prevents any one group from overriding the rights of others. By doing so, we protect democracy from becoming a tyranny of the majority or the tyranny of any powerful minority faction.

Weird response considering the Biden administration issued 60 executive orders in the first few months to dismantle our border and created the worst illegal immigration crisis in history.
