I have no problem with good scientific research, as long as it’s done in the USA. The Chinese facility was a known accident waiting to happen. Fauci should’ve known better. The world should’ve known better.

It’s gain of function research. A three-year-old understands this. The research at Wuhan that Fauci funded was to alter coronaviruses by adding a spike protein to make them more transmissible. Fauci can play word games all he wants as to whether that research officially constitutes “gain of function” by the NIH’s official definition. That’s fine. That’s what you do when you are potentially facing criminal charges. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that what he did was reckless, and that the work at Wuhan which he helped fund likely led to the pandemic. But you dumb focking sheep would rather be anti-Trump then deal with this reality.
