Dude, it’s everywhere. Restaurants, groceries… add in the fact that everything now requires a tip…. Plus shrinkflation. I just came back from chik-fil-a and I got 12 grilled nuggets (about 2/3rds of a single chicken breast), a crispy kale salad (a handful of kale) and a medium coke. $18 - and an hour later I’m hungry again. I feel like 5 years ago that meal would have been $12, with a lot more volume. So that’s a 50% increase over a 5 year period. If the average salary went up 5% per year, that’s only a 22% increase over 5 years. And rents have gone up an astounding amount, not to mention interest rates to buy cars and houses…. Like I said, I am doing well but it sure doesn’t feel like it. And I can’t imagine how average wage earners are getting by.

Sorry, but Biden owns the destructive inflation that has ruined this country. It’ll take a generation to rectify it, too. Let’s put this way - I got a massive promotion 4 years ago, just about doubled my salary (and I was doing well to begin with). My overall standard of living is down from where it was prior to that. I was at the Philly airport yesterday and grabbed lunch - a cheesesteak, cheese fries, and a coke. $28. How in the hell are average wage earners surviving right now? I have a hunch that everyone is just accumulating debt.

Turns out the ABC moderator fact checking Trump on babies born alive after botched abortions was wrong. Focking unbelievable. Five babies died in Minnesota after they were born alive due to a failed induced abortion in 2021.
