This should go without saying, but everyone wants to get off the plane. Look, if someone ahead of you is dilly-dallying in their seat and it'll be 3 or 4 seconds before they can get into the aisle, it's fine to sneak past them. But there have been times where I am in the middle or window seat and someone from the rows behind is already in the aisle and won't give me a split second to move into the aisle to get my luggage out of the bin. That's rude but tolerable. What is intolerable - and what I was really speaking to - is the rare situation when as soon as the seatbelt light goes off some dikkhead starts walking down the aisle. I've only seen it happen a few times, and each time it was on a flight originating out of New York.

I do a lot of last minute business travel where I have to book a flight days or even hours beforehand. This means that I often get assigned to the last boarding group. It also means that there's a good likelihood that I may be asked to "check" my bag at the gate when the overhead storage bins start to fill up. The last time this happened, it went something like this: - As I'm scanning my boarding pass, the ticket lady at the gate gets a call from the crew - "Hey, start checking bags because the bins are starting to fill up." - Ticket lady - "Sir, I'm going to need you to check your bag. Please leave it at the end of the sky-bridge". - Me - "I'd rather not. This flight is already behind schedule (due to their own incompetence btw) and I have a connecting flight with a very tight time-frame." - Ticket lady - "Your bag will be waiting for you right when you get off the plane." - Me - "No, I fly all the time and that never happens. There is always a wait." - Ticket lady - "Well I'm sorry, but there is no room for any more bags on the flight." - Me - "Can I check and make sure? The lady who just called said they were 'starting to fill up'. Can I give it a shot? If there's no room I'll check it then?" - Ticket lady - "No. Check your bag or take another flight." So I check the bag, leave it at the end of the sky-bridge, walk to my seat at the back of the place, where I see about 3 overhead bins fully empty. I curse under my breath. I get to my destination, deplane, and wait about 10 minutes for my bag to get dropped off at the end of the sky-bridge with 2 other passengers. We soon realize that our bags aren't going to be dropped off. I go to the nearest counter and ask why the bag hasn't been dropped off. The lady tells me that at this airport ALL checked bags - even those checked at the gate - are delivered to the general baggage claim area. So I walk down there and wait about 30 minutes for my bag to get spit out. I miss my connecting flight.

Also, if you are going to bring food on the plane, make sure it doesn't stink.

And how about this? When deplaning, wait your focking turn? That part always goes from front to back - without exception.

I was hoping the Left would return to traditional Liberalism after Trump got knocked off, but they didn’t. They got worse.

It’s handgun murders, mostly in Democrat-run cities, and exacerbated by Leftist DA’s, “defund the police” nonsense, no cash bail, allowing homeless to camp out on our sidewalks, decriminalizing shoplifting up to $1,000... If Liberals really want to lower the number of gun-related homicides, get your focking house in order and stop going light on crime.

I know this a tough day for Liberals. It celebrates the start of the Revolution, when average Americans violently fought back against a corrupt and oppressive Government. And in 2023 it commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Boston Marathon Terrorist bombing. I just watched a great documentary on it - "American Manhunt" on Netflix. What struck me while watching it was how unified the country was back then. After capturing Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in Watertown, the police drove through entire streets lined with people cheering for them, chanting "USA! USA!" If this happened today, Liberals would be crying and moaning about police racism and excessive force. At the very lest Liberals like @The Real timschochet would be in here complaining about anti-Muslim bias. Enjoy the day my Conservative friends. Liberals have taken this country to a very dark place, but fortunately freedom is a very stubborn thing. We've come too far to let anti-American scumbags like @TimHauck, @GutterBoy, @MDC, @thegeneral, @The Real timschochet and @Pimpadeaux rewrite our history and derail our destiny.

When I was a freshman in high school my English teacher was coach of the girls varsity team - one of the best teams in the state. Our freshman boys team sucked, and she used to jab me all the time about it. Finally one day I got a little too mouthy and challenged her to a game, and and she gladly accepted. It became a huge deal. She hyped it up as a fundraising event. The gym was packed to capacity and community television broadcast it. Long story short - they kicked our asss. A large part of it was that we agreed to use the smaller women’s ball, and like the cocky teenagers we were - we didn’t even practice with it. Hell, I don’t think we practiced at all. Our season had been over for a few weeks and we just thought we could show up and our size and strength advantage would carry the day. Wrong. They played a 2-3 zone and forced us to shoot mid and long range jumpers. And we were shooting BRICKS with that small ball. It was a nightmare. The crowd was against us, the refs were against us, and the girls played like it was the National Championship. It was such a strange experience. Back then you never played against girls, so it was extremely awkward having to body up against them. It was humiliating and easily the most humbling sports experience of my life.
