Here is what these plea deals say. "...the defendant shall be completely exonerated of guilt of the said offenses." And what is the condition... "...the defendant shall testify truthfully" Considering that these defendants are already required by law to testify truthfully, the prosecutor has secured absolutely nothing. So basically in the cases of the biggest crime in American history we have defendant after defendant given deals where they are completely exonerated upon completion of the terms (follow the law), and we have the government media putting out headlines declaring victory and all the trained braindead minions cheering. Our entire Executive Branch has become rotten to the core. It needs to be gutted and to have massive reforms which includes checks and accountability. The US Executive branch has turned into the most massive and powerful organization in the history of mankind. People inherently suck and when you give people unlimited unchecked power they completely suck. The problems with our Executive branch. 1. It is way too big with over 4 million employees and is only answerable to one elected official (the President) who has no grasp at what they all do. 2. They have way too much power. They write massive amount of regulations loosely based on laws which are often greatly expanded over what was passed by the legislature. The executive branch angencies effectively writes the rules, enforces the rules, and makes judgement on the rules many having their own courts or have a DC circuit which has become nothing but a rubber stamp for executive abuses. 3. Attempts by the legislature to hold the executive agencies accountable is laughable. They pull in these bureaucrats into testify before Congress and they stonewall, outright lie or hide behind things like that is 'classified', or that is an 'on-going investigation, or 'we can't reveal our methods'. 4. The are becoming armed to the hilt. Even non-military agencies like the NIH are purchasing huge amount of assault weapons and have a ridiculous amount of ammo stockpiled. Why? 5. They secretly hire 'assets' off the books and strong-arm corporations to do an end run around the Constitution Our Executive Branch hires outsiders to do thier dirty deeds that they are prohibited by the Bill of Rights to abuse citizens. Our Executive Branch has fundamental flaws in how it has evolved and has become a cesspool of corruption and is far closer to fascism than a Constitutional Republic. This is not a Democrat vs. Republican or Liberal vs. Conservstive issue. This is an issue of freedom vs. Tyranny.
