When these agencies are caught abusing citizens rights they then get dragged in front of Congress where they refuse to address their questions. The DC circuit is loaded with a bunch of judges who just rubber stamped their blind authority. The FBI for instance gets hundreds of thousands of FISA warrants every year very few have anything to do with fighting terrorists which was the justification for granting such authority. That is the focking swamp that has been created and you idiots think that is how it should work. We need to put a big knife in the back of this deep state monster and once again have a government which answers to the people, not the mega wealthy puppet master of the deep state.

The Smoot-Hawley had very minimal impact on the economy as it barely changed the US tax policy from the previous 40 years. It is nothing but revisionist history to overhype the value of free trade by those pushing some seriously one-sided terrible unfair trade deals we struck with Mexico and China.
