I do not trust government with too much power. It is one thing when government uses their power to go after mobsters, terrorists, drug cartels, or human traffickers. But that is never where it stop. We just had four years where government abused their power to go after skeptics of global warming, skeptics of vaccines, bitcoiners, and critics of government power. Now we have a government which is abusing their power to go after immigrants. Again if these were just gang members or terrorists it would be cool. But they are going after all immigrants, bith legal and illegal for something as dumb as social media posting. It is what government does when they are given power. Not a conspiracy theory, but a scientist law of nature which happens 100 percent of the time. Surprised the House race is getting little attention in the media or online. The outcome has huge implications for Trump getting stuff passed and ability to have investigations into corrupt agencies. Currently 212 to 203 with 218 needed to capture the majority. The 20 uncalled races are about evenly split 10 to 10 on who the current leader is, but many have razor thin margins which could flip. GOP can not be lulled into taking their eyes off these races as flipping even a few races can alter the balance of power. The media blackout on this topic has me concerned that some shanningans may be underway to quietly steal control of the House.

The President can disclose whatever the fuk he wants to. The law clearly excludes the Presidemt. Also department heads who were responsible for establishing the classification level can declassify anything under their authority. Charging a President or the even the Secretary of Defense would not go far. The purpose of classifying material is to protect the Executuve Branch. All classifications levels are done within the executive branch. They are the lone branch responsible for the security of the United States and if the heads of departments release material, it is the President's call to fire or discipline them.
