    Hall & Oates Restraining Order

He'd win and was a pretty good wrestler in high school, plus he was good friends with Hunter Thompson so he's probably a little crazy.

1934 The every-year tradition of playing football on Thanksgiving, NFL style, dates back to 1934 when the Detroit Spartans hosted the World Champion Chicago Bears

I forgot Buffalo was playing tonight and wanted to throw a decent amount against them. That team is horrible.

    Useless Facts 11/21/23

The first turkey pardon was by JFK. So, who was the first president to give a bird a pass? John F. Kennedy. In 1963, Kennedy announced he wouldn't eat the turkey he'd been given. Instead, he sent it to a farm upstate where it had plenty of space to run and play and gobble and contemplate what its country had done for it.

    11/21/1980

The date is November 21, 1980, and it's a Friday. Babies who are born today will have the star sign Scorpio. Many people have "that Friday feeling" and are looking forward to the weekend. It's November, so the evenings are getting darker and the days are getting colder. In America, the song "Lady" by Kenny Rogers is at the top of the singles charts, while "The Tide Is High" by Blondie is the number-one song in the UK. Jimmy Carter is the President of the United States, and the movie Private Benjamin is at the top of the box office. Margaret Thatcher is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "Charlie's Angels", "Quincy, M.E.", "Eight Is Enough", and "The Dukes of Hazzard". Because it's 1980, the radio stations are being dominated by artists such as Pink Floyd, Barbra Streisand, John Lennon, Lipps Inc, Diana Ross, Blondie and Kenny Rogers. In fashion, women are wearing jelly shoes, turtleneck sweaters, loose high-waist pants, crop tops, and puffer jackets lined with fur. Meanwhile, men have been ditching the disco look of the 1970s in favor of athletic clothing such as tracksuits and sports jerseys. The "preppy" look has also been making a comeback. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as John Lennon, Bob Marley, Terry Fox, and Adam Walsh would all still be alive. People are playing video games such as "Space Invaders", "Lunar Lander", "Asteroids", and "Galaxian". Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids", "Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels", "Battle of the Planets", and "Mork & Mindy". Children are playing with toys such as Operation, Magna Doodle, Rubik's Cube, and Fischer Price cassette player.
