That and those metal helmets get harder to play in the older you get. -
I had two Tempo's totaled in 3 years but neither was my fault, needless to say I never bought another one again. I was lucky I wasn't killed in the first one and figured I would pick another brand or model after the 2nd one.

Fantsy football update: Pittsburgh Steelers
BeenHereBefore replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
True but Smith seems like he is going to do a lot more play action as well and so nice to be able to not have to run the ball out of shotgun all the time like Canada did. I think that is what the Sreelers needed in a OC , so Smith may be a good hire. -

He did pretty well with Henry and good OC not good head coach ? Kinda like Todd Haley, I'm just saying he was what Pitt is looking for and will see. -

He seems run oriented and probably why Pitt went with him. That and he made Tannehill decent. -
I can't catch him and have the same players going lol.

The date is January 29, 1979, and it's a Monday. Babies who are born today will have the star sign Aquarius. The weekend has just passed, so some people are feeling a bit down. Others are tired after partying too much. In America, the song "Le Freak" by Chic is at the top of the singles charts, while "Heart Of Glass" by Blondie is the number-one song in the UK. Jimmy Carter is the President of the United States, and the movie Superman is at the top of the box office. James Callaghan is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "Fawlty Towers", "What's Happening!!", "Quincy, M.E.", and "Soap". In fashion, clothes have become baggier and pants have become less flared. Sports clothing and the "disco look" are both popular at the moment. Women are wearing sundresses, strapless tops with t-shirts, shoulder pads, cardigans, knee-length skirts and daisy dukes. Meanwhile, men are wearing tracksuits, flare jeans, low-top sneakers and untucked collared shirts. Because it's 1979, the music charts are being dominated by the likes of Blondie, Gloria Gaynor, M, Donna Summer, Patrick Hernandez, The Knack and Rod Stewart. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Sid Vicious, John Wayne, Alfred Hitchcock, and Ian Curtis would all still be alive. People are playing video games such as "Pursuit", "Gun Fight", "Breakout", and "Space Invaders". Kids and teenagers are watching TV shows such as "Happy Days", "The All-New Super Friends Hour", "Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels", and "Godzilla". Children are playing with toys such as Etch A Sketch, the Easy-Bake Oven, Battleship (game), and Speak & Spell.

Lost another one of my close friends
BeenHereBefore replied to Stryker Ryker's topic in The Geek Club
Sorry to hear man and lost a lot to drugs and suicide the last couple years, a few from cancer as well. Sucks getting old and again sorry to hear about your friend. -
I said people still want to believe in Santa no matter if proof proves other wise Some of the teams like the Giants and Steelers was founded on shady horse racing gambling. The Giants owner gave Art Rooney a tip on a horse race where Art won a ton and enough to buy the Steelers. Probably some huge trifecta long shot.

Because it's a famous mystery for many years.
