If Jimmy G is forced to miss Sunday’s game because of a concussion, should the Raiders start the predictable Hoyer over Aiden O’Connell? Are the Raiders afraid that if O’C plays well, that the fans will be looking for O’C to be their rebuilding QB and the front office will look like fools for signing Jimmy G?

Not only their coaching staff but apparently their front office. They paid a #2 (33rd pick) in the 2023 draft for Claypool and now the school of thought is an outright release. Never majored in business but it sure looks like a piss poor investment.

I think Tom Brady started the transformation with the roughing the passer calls to anyone who even remotely got near him. But Brady was their *boy* and they were going to protect their most prized marketing possession at all costs. You saw the same thing with Mahomes last night. Just look at the NFL as wrestling.

PJ Walker has been added from the Browns practice squad to the active roster. Rumors and propaganda has it that Watson is a true GTD with the balky shoulder. Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who acquitted himself well in the meaningless preseason is the clear #2. Tom-Rob could be a decent stash for those needing a backup or hard up in Superflex plays.
