  1. Are you 16 and have only seen 4 stand up comedians?

Tennessee passes bill gutting marriage rights

I can't imagine anybody complaining about whatever Alex Jones got. Truly a POS human.
  3. Similar to musicians, IMO. Hard to do the same thing over and over - I mean how do you NOT let your life, money, and experiences trickle into the material for better or worse? They are not the same people they were 2 decades ago. The only people who don't are the grumpy old Geek Clubbers b1tching about there being no good music to listen to since Dokken.
  4. I think that's a fair observation. It happens with a lot of people when they get to the tippy top. It's hard to sustain that level of quality when you have more money than you know what to do with, get old, and have a family. Stand up is an odd process, and I could see not wanting to do the grinding as you tweak the material too. I still laugh a lot at all the comedians I would put in this bucket now - Gervais, Chappelle, Rock off the top of my head. Still some moments, but also more time in between laughs for me as I watch.
  5. God, I wish. See the Sound of Freedom thread.
  6. I like the last couple, but he seems to lean more towards having something to say and uses some jokes to say it vs. focusing on telling jokes - if that makes sense. He has a very unique style, but I find others more consistently funny now.
  7. Pretty much my take. I am selfish, so if the finished product is worth it and I don't have to deal with it...
  8. DDL the exact same way, but worse - he will do it for years. Pretty sure I read he had people carrying him around set while doing My Left Foot.
  9. I think Chapelle will be just fine. I watched the special the other night and laughed a bit. The stuff on trans people was on par with his other two. I thought maybe between his special and the new Gervais stand up, the handicapped community would be upset, but maybe they can take a joke better?
  10. You are right, I guess I do believe you are pathetic enough to spend that much time to set up multiple tests and try to play "gotcha" with the mods. You give yourself a pat on the back and a gold star?
  11. Understanding they are biased doesn't require me to believe you actually did that, idiot.

    Today's Music is Gawd Awful

I don't even think it takes much digging. Just more digging than Jon getting spoon fed a few songs on the New Years Eve event.

    Lions 2pt attempt

Lol. So the answer is not trying new plays and formations?

    Why Won't Democrats Protect Kids?

No, "protecting the kids" is now mostly a catch phrase for idiots like you as you protect certain types, but wgaf about others (like the kids south of the border). I agree with you and others about the issue and minors, moron. The obsession of the lgbtq issue comes from the religious right, which is what my post was referring to. No, the rate the graph I was referring to hasn't already come true, sheesh you are dumb. Yes, the % is higher, but for it to be true well over 50% more of the population would have to also turn lgbtq. I know you would be happy because your obsession with glory holes and dudes taking c0ck would become normalized, but the idea if it is asinine. Just once, try to actually read posts and understand what they are saying.

    Why Won't Democrats Protect Kids?

I think a lot of it stems from the religious right. Combine that with the idea and evidence that it's a social contagion and we will all be lbgtq in a couple decades, and I get why it dominates headlines on the right. Hell, even people like Maher were showing graphs like that and monologing about that. For my tastes both sides have lost their mind over the issue. I think most people if sat down would agree to keep trans women out of women's sports, strong sexual content out of schools, and minors away from permanent changes like hormones and surgery.

I must have missed that one.

    Why Won't Democrats Protect Kids?

. This place and the internet in a nutshell. If you aren't willing to call everyone a racist pedo or post about spilling the blood and Civil War! you are the enemy and 100% supporting it all. For a bit it's funny, but then when basically every "discussion" goes to that place, well ... As to the topic at hand, imo a huge step is an independent psych evaluation. Often that step is missed OR it's at the same clinics that are designed to affirm and move forward. That should be built into any policy on the topic. The right, despite blaming many things on mental illness, don't seem overly interested in funding that or talking about it and the left don't like people telling them some of these troubled kids are in fact not trans and need different care. So here we are.
  19. They cater to that group partly to keep their power and partly out of fear of the mob. Again, its one of the things I hate the most of the left today. Not much. Just like above, there's only so many different ways I can say the same thing- 50% of the time I vote 3rd party, then the rest of the votes are split between r/d. I think both parties are crap and lead by the extremes currently. I've also said that now often my vote is against crazy, so a R vote could be against some defund the police or trans in sports freak, and a D vote is against an abortion ban or stop the steal freak. It depends on the year, type of election, and type of politican running.
  20. I don't know how many different ways to say the voters <> the politicians. I've been consistent in saying I believe both parties are governed by the extremes currently. We can both be right, and are. The reason many are unhappy with the Ds is this woke/trans stuff. It's bizarre if you support 100% of what a politician does or a party you vote for does.
  21. Actually, those platforms are pretty funny reading. Typical political speak and b.s. from both parties.
  22. OMG you freaks - how hard is it to click on a link to read this DNC platform. One of you is wrong, it shouldn't be hard to figure out who.
  23. Pretty much. Nobody is clicking articles about normal people going about their day and doing good things. That crap doesn't sell, you've got to give us rubes the racists and drag queens.
