It would be funny if it wasn't so gross how ignorant these people are as they have their partisan blinders on so tight. Can't imagine only caring about some grooming or child trafficking like these dopes. According to Jon it's not grooming if you just wait until 18 to officially "court" them, and don't forget Eternal's gem of who cares about the kids at the border getting poached- they shouldn't be there. Save the kids, indeed.

"important" is a strong word. I find people's lines on these things interesting and often funny or hypocritical. Provides good opportunity to bust balls of some posters here and laugh at hyper partisan idiots.

What exactly do you think I "support" and why would buying Bud Light when I don't drink beer accomplish that?
-
That could be true, but it's for a silly reason. They should have been drinking "real" beer to begin with.
-
I think this is more accurate. Most of the people in here were clear they didn't want woke stuff on THEIR crap, but it wasn't some all-inclusive woke stance and boycott. I think corporate America will still try things like this because I'd imagine many times it does woke with the right product and campaign.
-
Sure, there's a bit of that. The reasons don't make my post less true.
-
Core? No, but customers of makeup probably have a higher tolerance of trannies and woke than Bud Light drinkers.
-
Sure, but also a different product and company. Woke or this type of advertising isn't going anywhere - companies will just probably figure out their core customers more and see where they can and can't use it.
-
Yes, and these weirdos get riled up if somebody is critical of how that is depicted in the movie or why it has to linger on those scenes so much. There is probably a reason they don't like that being brought up.

Hey, they are just there proctecting the kids and doing research!! -
Sounds like the type of "research" and "awareness" we have in the GC. Trannies instead of kid porn, thank God.

Me being in WI made me think even more about my vote this time around. If I lived elsewhere it would have been business as usual.
-
I vote for issues and what I think is good for the country or community as a whole vs how my investments may or may not do in 4 years? Oh no!
-
Very little change, and my family's financial situation doesn't factor in my vote much. I've been clear about where I stand on most issues, chose to believe it or not.
-
Every time. one of these I won't be so gullible. You reeled me in with words over trannie tweets.

It's more fun to pile on a55holes, and the far left nuts haven't been the a55holes toward me. You of all people can appreciate a little bit of bs trolling that's why I don't "go at" them. I've disagreed with them on the border, on guns, and other things and you have even been in some of those conversations, so spare me that. Biden is dull as hell, and Trump is more fun to talk about. And what he was trying to do after the election I consider treasonous, so there is that as well. Though I have no love for either or most politicians, I do have a special distain for Trump and can admit that.
-
I'd love examples where I defend the administration. I attack Republicans here because most of you are far right nuts that have gone too far. I'm mostly with you all on the trans stuff, then you go to cuckoo town. I'm with you on covid, and... mostly with you on guns, and... I think you get the picture.

I've been clear and honest - I voted 3rd party for POTUS since late 90s, and voted Biden in '22. State and local level it's more R/D with 3rd party mixed in. I've also been pretty open about not liking the result of that, and if given a redo I'd just go 3rd party again. I didn't think Biden would be this bad, or more accurately I hoped the people he surrounded himself with also weren't epically bad. I can't speak to who anybody else on the board did or didn't vote for. Around here talking to people I don't remember running into anybody that didn't vote for one or the other, so I don't think the bolded is all that surprising.
-
Weird that you cut off my post. What's your point here?
-
No, whataboutism is pointing the finger constantly at the other "team" while ignoring yours. Whataboutism is Trump! Biden! Summer of Love! 1/6! BLM! Racism! without ever saying anything bad about the people you voted for or your "team". Yes, I agree that should be our goal, but I will also say that is never going to happen. Different rules for different people - always has been, always will be.

That's the beauty of the internet and this type of thinking. You can search and find an example to feed into your confirmation biases. The fact that there might be 2 people in the country that MIGHT have said some crazy sh1t (and they have the proper letter behind their name) = lockdowns!! "they" said it, it's starting...

He was probably just joking then, too.

I get that we as a whole have distrust of our systems. As I said above, it's healthy to have skepticism. I guess what I was laughing at is IMO this has gone way past that point and even the evidence that has been shown or talked about goes beyond that. There's skepticism of the process and then there's going ahead with the things Trump was doing. The bolded, I agree with - you have legal avenues like the lawsuits and other things that got shot down. Like you said, we will see when the evidence is brought out and the cases will be made. I still don't know how many minds will be changed though no matter the outcome.

I don't think there is anything the party of personal responsibility won't blame on "the left" anymore. Now if Trump gets elected it's "the left"'s fault for indicting him?
