Maybe tell us why you think the main reason for the difference in the number of murders is between the state of WV and Baltimore is since you brought it up.

Exactly. Once you take away the most common factors you can start looking at other reasons. Do you disagree with what I said above - most predictable is factors like density, education, poverty when talking murder and violent crime? Without looking, I'd expect Tokyo to have higher density, higher education, and lower poverty levels. I think we would agree that after that things like culture, attitudes towards crime, etc come into play. I would also be curious to know what % of that murder rate is gun murder if we were comparing Baltimore to Tokyo.

You know, I usually think Ravens goes overboard with the MAGAs being stupid stuff. Please tell me you two are joking and actually do realize I was just answering your boy Dizknee, who brought up the comparison. He didn't seem to understand why Baltimore might have more violent crime than the state of WV, despite having fewer people and I answered why.

Why? I was pretty clear. I just looked it up - WV has 77 people/sq mi, and Baltimore has 6880 people/sq mi. Yes, other variables factor in, but if you don't think that stat is a main contributor and we aren't really talking about the same situations I don't know what to tell you. There are many different things that factor in, I agree. But the most common and the ones with highest correlation are common sense things like: population density, education levels, and poverty rates. That's why it's funny to me when the Geek Club trips over themselves blame the AAs and libs all the time, when often they are ignoring factors I just listed. I know what diznee was probably looking for was the typical "black culture, rap music, and lib policies" b.s. answer usually given around here.

That would be interesting to see how they compare to other similar cities and why. Even with their drop in population it's still a big city with a much higher density than the state of WV, which was my point - that would explain a good % of that difference. Do you disagree?

Yeah, I don't buy this as much as the Geek Club seems to. If it's true, the Dems are dumber than I thought since the vote is starting to change from what Ive read. I truly don't understand how people think only one side of the aisle benefits from the border as is and its by design, not accident. As for your last statement, I certainly never said there is something wrong with that. I want that, I just don't agree with the solutions and root issues I usually see floated in these discussions. Walls and saying it's because of votes aren't it, and for sure neither is ramping up benefits as we saw during this administration.

How high on your lists of reasons they are here is because they also know they will find work? These people also often get here by paying 1000s to traffickers- can't pay that back with benefits. Free benifits are part of the equation, bit imo the whole country (R and D) are more than happy to hire them and make profits off these people.

This is me as well. Are you a similar age? (48 here). One of my favorite bands, no way I could narrow down a favorite. What has impressed me is their output from Brave New World on, especially Book of Souls. Imo we can cross off the 90s, but their late era is damn good and the run of albums from the debut to 7th Son is about as good as it gets regardless of genre.

I understand, we just disagree a bit on that point. How I read your posts is basically people need to be punished and suffer for voting D. Then they might wise up and vote R. Again, I think that is really backwards thinking, and many things wrong along the thought process.

Yeah, we just won't agree that when you include all media it's as lopsided as you claim. We also seem to include different things in MSM. I also very much disagree with your tactics at the end. What you describe is a descent to the bottom as we cheer on people we disagree with getting lied to and screwed over. If by "the media" you are just talking MSNBC and the like, then sure of course. It's not all lefty propoganda, man. Now, if you are actually a reasonable person and include all media in "the media" then you might have a different pov. You can't be seriously suggesting that Fox, OAN, and all the others like that aren't doing exactly the same thing to the other side of the aisle. IMO the problem is not "the media" in this country, it's that the tech and other things have made is so that there is too often left or right info and people can isolate themselves from other viewpoints and info.
