How it works is that massive forehead was so heavy, that it probably dragged him under in that hot tub. I'm sure the likely booze and cocaine didn't help either. But look at that thing. The raw surface area. You could paint a landscape portrait in that gigantic level of open space. Will I be the only one to point out the juggernaut footprint of that forehead? Obviously it's tragic in that he probably wasted most of his life to a bottle and drugs. But lots of people suffer far worse. He had the money to have the best treatment available, if he wanted it. It goes to show, everyone has problems. Deep down, you don't know what people are really going through. For example, you could be struggling with your sobriety and failing at raising kids and driving around drunk. Then your husband ignores you while carpet bombing a quarter of a million posts on the Internet for no real positive gain at all.

$10 says you could land a C-130 on his massive forehead ( I feel sympathy for his family and friends, obviously. But he wanted the burn the candle twice as bright, so it was naturally going to burn only half as long.)

Nearly 350 K-12 Educators/Teachers Arrested On Child Sex Crimes In 2022

Nearly 350 K-12 educators arrested on child sex crimes in 2022 .....Nearly 350 public educators were arrested on child sex-related crimes in the U.S. last year, averaging to almost an arrest every day on crimes ranging from grooming to child porn to raping students, Fox News Digital has found.....A year-long analysis conducted by Fox News Digital revealed that from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of 2022, at least 349 kindergarten through 12th-grade educators were arrested on child sex crimes....The 349 educators included five principals, three assistant principals, 290 teachers, 26 substitute teachers and 25 teachers’ aides spanning nearly every state in the country. At least 262 of the arrests, or 75%, involved alleged crimes against students....The analysis looked at local news stories week by week featuring arrests of K-12 principals, assistant principals, teachers, substitute teachers and teachers’ aides on child sex-related crimes in public school districts across the country. Arrests that weren't publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher. ...."This isn't surprising or new though it is hard to accept....Since the dawn of time, sexual predators have found a way to embed themselves in child rich environments and schools are no exception. Smart phones and encrypted apps have increased access to young children and adolescents ..... we must do a much better job protecting children while also respecting due process. It's an icky topic but hiding from it can't be an option." ...."These findings are likely lower bound estimates of the actual amount of sexual abuse occurring in public schools because the analysis only includes publicized arrests and cannot count undetected or unreported forms of abuse.... a 2004 report from the U.S. Department of Education estimated that around one in ten public school students will experience educator sexual misconduct by the time they graduate from high school. The Department of Education should update the report as soon as possible to shine a light on this abuse."...The Education Department report, released nearly 20 years ago, claimed that nearly 9.6% of students are targets of educator sexual misconduct sometime during their school career.... ....Eugene Pratt, 57, a former principal, elementary school teacher and coach who taught at-risk youth in multiple Michigan public schools, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct in August. He is accused of sexually assaulting at least 15 boys and young adult men during his education career spanning several decades...."When you see positions that he held that involve being a principal, school administrator, counselor, GED coordinator, and even after he taught, where he was arrested last week out of New Paths, as a driver, as a transport officer...Individuals like Eugene Pratt put themselves in positions of authority over others in order to act on their prey and to find and identify vulnerable people." ....William Landon Smith, a 31-year-old former science teacher at Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina, was charged with 27 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, 28 counts of indecent liberties with a student, and one count of secretly using or installing a photographic imaging device to arouse or gratify sexual desire....Smith is accused of inappropriately communicating with students via social media apps like Snapchat when he was a teacher at Cape Fear. .....John M. Doty, a 35-year-old former biology teacher at Career Academy South Bend in Indiana, was charged with two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and six counts of child seduction....Doty is accused of repeatedly raping a 16-year-old female student and threatening to kill her. He is scheduled to stand trial this month. ....Anthony Mattei, 59, a middle-school teacher in the Allen Independent School District in Texas, was charged in August with two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. The district has since put Mattei on administrative leave and launched an investigation after it was revealed he had been permitted to return to the classroom following a separate investigation into misconduct allegations in April.... .....four current and former Plymouth Public School educators in Connecticut were arrested in connection with an investigation into alleged child sex abuse by a fourth-grade teacher, 51-year-old James Eschert. Four administrators at Plymouth Center School were charged with failure to report abuse, neglect or injury of a child or imminent risk of serious harm to a child after students allegedly complained about misconduct by Eschert and nothing was done. Two of the administrators have since resigned and retired and the other two are facing termination....Eschert was arrested in January on five counts of risk of injury to a child and two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault...... ....Richard Alexander Turner....is accused of sexually assaulting 10 female students. Turner was charged....with six counts each of sexual penetration by use of force and sexual battery, four counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious person and one count each of forcible rape and forcible oral copulation.... .....Kimberly Cruz-Romero, a former Utah middle school staff member, was arrested last month for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old male student and becoming pregnant by him. The student claimed he had sex with Cruz-Romero multiple times, including at school, and that she is a member of a gang that threatened him to keep quiet. She is charged with rape of a child, forcible sodomy and two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.....Bonnie Rose Guess-Mazock, 36, a former Texas high school science teacher who was arrested in January 2022, was sentenced in October to 10 years behind bars after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a male student...Kyle Brooks, 55, a former Ohio high school English teacher who was arrested in April, was sentenced in September to five years behind bars after pleading guilty to the sexual battery of a female student. Daniel Norment, 41, a former Florida middle school math teacher who was arrested in May, was sentenced in September to three years in prison for having sex with a 16-year-old female student in a classroom closet. The victim has filed a lawsuit accusing the Palm Beach County School District of "allowing and enabling" the longtime teacher to "groom and then sexually assault her,"....Jesse Sturtz, 23, a former Wisconsin high school gym teacher who was arrested in February, was sentenced in October to six months in jail after being convicted of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old female student. He later committed suicide just days before being required to report to jail..... .....while all states require prospective employers to conduct criminal background checks on educators, and most states — 46 — require fingerprinting, only 19 states require employers to request information from an applicant's current and former employers. Further, only 14 states require employers to check an applicant’s eligibility for employment or certification, and only 11 require applicants to disclose information regarding investigations or disciplinary actions related to sexual abuse or misconduct..... https://www.foxnews.com/us/nearly-350-k-12-educators-arrested-child-sex-crimes-2022 -

Patrick Bet-David: “Death of the Mall - Why Commercial Real Estate Is Getting Destroyed"

How To Bring ‘Zombie Malls’ Back To Life .....Over the past 40 years, malls have been on a slow, steady decline to irrelevancy. Back in the 1980s, there were about 2,500 malls nationwide. Today some 700 malls are still operating, according to Nick Egelania, president of SiteWorks. And he told the Wall Street Journal that only about 150 will survive over the next ten years.....That projection may be a bit exaggerated. Nonetheless, malls are fighting for their lives, with about one-third well along in their death march, having occupancy rates of 70% or less. And the pace has picked up since the pandemic. Mall foot traffic has continued to decline, down 7% for indoor malls and 9% for outlet malls from 2019 to 2022, according to Placer.ai.....Hastening their demise, malls have been losing their anchors. Sears operated about 300 stores in 2019 and only about 40 today. Macy’s went from 649 stores to 510 locations at the close of fiscal 2022, and some 250 Bon Ton stores have shuttered. “You can throw a rock and hit a mall that’s half empty these days,” quipped Andrew Brezina, principal at CRTKL, a global architecture, planning and design firm that works with both retailers and malls in designing spaces....But on a more serious note, he added, “there exists a significant number of shopping malls such that their current occupancy or foot traffic levels are at or below 50% of their maximum capacity.”....Malls developed during the flight to the suburbs in the 1960s and 1970s. They were built in open fields on the outskirts of town that were designed for people to come and spend their money. Envisioned first as being retail-centric, they’ve taken steps to become consumer-centric, but that’s not enough anymore. Malls need to be community- and people-centric. Buying, shopping and spending money can’t be their primary reason for being.....“Centers must lean into what experiences they can offer that will get people to want to come back repeatedly and dwell. It’s got to be interesting and very specific to the local community and its unique needs,” Holstedt said.....Community-centered malls will become hotspots or local hubs for all kinds of local activities. They must be neighborhood gathering places where people can shop and dine and have access to services like healthcare, gyms, co-working and living spaces.... “Nobody wants to see big empty boxes in a mall, so there is a community need driving change. But sometimes, we find too many zoning restrictions placed on these spaces. City and local governments need to be more flexible. Sometimes it’s easier and less costly to build a new center from scratch than to remodel or repurpose an established mall,” Brezina said.....“It’s the social aspect that people are missing. Malls must provide a familiar space that is walkable, breathable and a real connection point where people of all ages can come and gather. We have to design malls to help people connect more intentionally,” Holstedt said.....First and foremost, the community-centric mall must be a fun place to go, not just a place to shop. Dining options add an experiential element, but it needs more than that, such as park-like play areas for kids, interactive local art and museum exhibits, concert venues, lending libraries and sporting activities for various ages. ....Their starting point is recognizing that malls serve two distinct markets with differing needs, specifically mall tenants and shoppers, and they operate in a dynamic environment involving the interaction of shoppers, retailers, competing malls and shops on the street.....“The retailing environment in a shopping mall is analogized to an ecosystem in which predators and prey coexist,” they wrote. “It is so complicated that the traditional theories of economics and models of business cannot be applied.” And they continued, the shopping mall model is “contingent on the interactive plays among shoppers, retailers and mall developers or operators.”.....The predators in the mall ecosystem include the mall operators who “prey” on retailers through rental leases and retailers that “prey” on shoppers by selling goods and services.....The mall must indirectly attract its tenants’ “prey” because “it does not produce any goods or services directly consumed by shoppers.” It does this by providing “an ecosystem (a platform) for predators and prey to coexist and prosper....” https://www.forbes.com/sites/pamdanziger/2023/03/20/how-to-bring-zombie-malls-back-to-life -

Women seeking jobs at Bill Gates' private office asked sexually explicit questions during interview .....Female job candidates interviewing for positions at billionaire Bill Gates’ private office claim to have been asked sexually explicit questions during the screening process....Questions posed to women interviewing for Gates Ventures allegedly included whether they had ever contracted an STD, had ever "danced for dollars" or ever engaged in extramarital affairs, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing the candidates and people familiar with the hiring process. ...Female job seekers were also pressed on what type of pornography they preferred, or if they had nude photographs of themselves on their phones.... .....A spokesperson for Gates’ private office claimed to be unaware of that line of questioning being posed during the background check process conducted by a third-party contractor....Sources told the Journal that Gates Ventures had used a security consulting firm called Concentric Advisors in recent years throughout its job screening process and that interviewers would be tasked with looking into whether candidates had any information in their past that could be used as blackmail if they were to be hired for a job working with one of the world’s wealthiest men.....Experts told the Journal that questions about a candidate's health or psychiatric history, including past illegal drug use that could expose an addiction, could be found in violation of the federal Americans With Disabilities Act. There is no broad law banning questions about sex in the interview process..... .....Gates has faced allegations of having an inappropriate relationship with a female Microsoft staffer decades ago, as well as being allegedly extorted by Jeffrey Epstein over an extramarital affair the Microsoft founder allegedly had with a Russian bridge player.... https://www.foxbusiness.com/business-leaders/women-seeking-jobs-bill-gates-private-office-asked-sexually-explicit-questions-interview-report -
