1.2MILLION US-born workers lost their jobs last month - replaced by 688,000 foreign-born workers

https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/brian-flores-sues-nyg-and-nfl-for-racial-discrimination.803131/post-23887240 timschochet Posted February 16 2022 Actually I don’t hire undocumented people to cut costs. I do it because they are the only ones available to perform the day labor I sometimes need. If native born guys were standing outside Home Depot looking for work I’d hire them willingly enough, but they don’t. Also I don’t dicker with the folks I hire; I describe the work to them and then pay them what they ask, usually with a pretty generous tip. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/please-don’t-call-undocumented-people-“illegal-immigrants”.796358/post-23375090 timschochet Posted April 30, 2021 I think people are either misunderstanding independent contractor laws or misunderstanding me. Let’s be clear: 1. As a property manager of several shopping centers, from time to time I need temporary manual labor. A couple of hours work max. So I go to Home Depot, describe the work, and pay whatever these guys want to charge me. I assume some of them are undocumented. I don’t know. I hire them because, frankly, there is nobody else to do it. 2. I don’t pay any “non-temporary” employees under the table. Never have. What I do is perfectly legal under the laws of California, and, IMO, perfectly ethical. 3. That said, I don’t judge those who hire these people full time and pay them under the table. I wouldn’t do it but I get it- it’s a minor crime, like jaywalking or coming across the border. I classify this sort of crime, like any black market, as the result of too many restrictions on capitalism. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/please-don’t-call-undocumented-people-“illegal-immigrants”.796358/post-23374644 timschochet Posted April 29, 2021 Depends on the job. Sometimes it probably works out to under minimum wage; sometimes over. The whole point of independent contractor work is that you don’t worry about it. I pay for convenience and availability. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/please-don’t-call-undocumented-people-“illegal-immigrants”.796358/post-23373480 timschochet Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) By referring to an undocumented person as an “illegal” we are dehumanizing them, making them non-persons in our society. I do not believe this is deliberate for most people who use this term; they do so without really considering the effects of what they’re saying . Which is why I do not, at the present time, condemn anyone for using the term “illegal”. But I would like to reach a time when everyone recognizes that it’s offensive, and then we CAN condemn those who use it. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/california-will-soon-be-the-worlds-5th-largest-economy.757419/post-22010098 timschochet Posted July 11, 2019 I don’t think so. This issue was discussed at length over 20 years ago when Prop 187 was debated. By giving undocumented immigrants basic health access we are preventing public health concerns and saving money in the long term. It makes good sense. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/illegal-immigrants-and-the-virus.784361/post-22578657 timschochet Posted March 17, 2020 I don’t want to engage in another argument about the status of the people. Yes they didn’t come here legally. Yes they broke the law coming. No they don’t pay as much taxes as legal citizens. Yes they can be a drain on our system. Maybe they shouldn’t be here. We all know all the arguments; I agree with some and not others but even if you agree with all of this it does not change the facts and we have an urgent problem that needs to be addressed, and it can’t wait any longer: https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/unofficial-canadian-thread-previously-trucker-convoy-thread.803112/post-23880764 timschochet Posted February 12 2022 That’s a positive impact. We actually grow richer as a result of illegal immigration. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/do-you-regret-voting-for-biden.792717/post-23779271 timschochet Posted December 22, 2021 I wasn’t trying to shock you. My views on this issue are pretty much well known here. I don’t regard them as radical. I believe that illegal immigration is a net gain for our society, both economically and culturally. I am basically for open immigration. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/wh-considering-450k-payouts-to-illegal-immigrants-separated-at-border.801145/post-23674418 timschochet Posted October 31, 2021 2. On the rest of your post, I don’t see the point in continually rehashing these issues. All I can say is that the facts overwhelmingly support my position: illegal immigrants are a net economic benefit to our society, and a net cultural benefit to our society, and it would be to our great advantage to let as many of them in as possible and to give most of the ones already here a path to citizenship. I fully realize this is a minority opinion and probably always will be, but I will continue to push for it. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/official-president-joe-biden-thread-best-ever.790013/post-23995570 timschochet Posted April 27 I don’t believe in slave labor, and I’m quite willing to discuss the burdens of which there are many and not evenly placed. My overall argument is that the benefits outweigh them, but that doesn’t mean the burdens don’t exist. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/the-trump-years-every-day-something-more-shocking-than-the-last.753767/post-20741985 timschochet Posted January 5, 2018 Suppose on January 5th, 2018 we allow two immigrants to come to this country: the first an engineer with job skills and a bank account, the second a day laborer with $50. If we look back at this decision 20 years from now, which immigrant was of greater benefit? Who knows? Maybe the engineer builds a bridge that we can use. But maybe the unskilled laborer saves somebody’s life. Maybe the laborer’s kid goes to medical school and cures brain cancer. Who knows? My point is that it’s impossible to distinguish between them in terms of future benefit. https://forums.footballguys.com/threads/please-don’t-call-undocumented-people-“illegal-immigrants”.796358/post-23375464 timschochet Posted April 30, 2021 But I’m still not convinced that I am doing anything morally, ethically wrong in my transactions with day laborers. Quite the opposite. ******** Let's unpack this. Tim wants as much illegal immigration as possible. He just doesn't want you to use those terms. He argues feverishly that illegal immigrants are not all criminals. Tim has however admitted to using them as cheap day labor to dump things like couches from his malls. And at times "it works out" to paying them sub minimum wage. But hey, he also gives a generous tip. And he wants them to all have health care here, paid with our tax dollars of course, so he can't be sued later if one of them gets hurt dumping a couch illegally, just as long as it's not in one of those malls. Tim doesn't believe in slave labor. But these illegal immigrants who are dumping his couches have no rights, no protection, no advocacy, not recourse if Tim decides not to pay them. Or to act in an abusive manner or any other host of potential chaos and discord and ill will. But it's all OK, because they are "net economic benefit" ( To Tim directly, for the rest of us, it's costing us tax dollars to deal with the problems of illegal immigration) and a "net gain for society, economically" and that "We all grow richer as a result of illegal immigration" ( How do we all grow richer when it's eating up our tax dollars with fentanyl coming in lethal doses by the millions, also those on the Terror Watch list coming through, with many many many more just plain coming through unvaccinated....) Tim says they broke the law and they shouldn't be here and they are a drain on our system, but maybe, just maybe, one of them will have a child that cures brain cancer or does something else super special amazing! So the best way to handle this according to "Michael"? Not label them as "illegals" in the first place. Despite the fact that Tim himself says, "Yes, they didn't come here legally" Tim says there is no one else available to dump couches illegally somewhere for him but he would hire them if they were available, and yet the only place Tim looks is at the Home Depot. https://www.1800gotjunk.com/us_en I mean, it's not like there exists any other large scale service on the entire Internet to get a rid of an unwanted couch in a mall besides paying an illegal sub minimum wage to commit a crime by dumping it somewhere else. So for Tim to avoid calling this all an "invasion" and maintaining his cheap labor force ( which he said even if someone was operating illegally, it's just like jaywalking), we all get instead - Increased incidents of 11 and 12 year old Mexican girls getting gang raped, sodomized and sexually trafficked by Cartel, mules, coyotes and career criminals. - Increased fentanyl coming across that represents millions of lethal doses - Increased numbers of unvaccinated coming across in the middle of a world wide pandemic - Texas National Guardsman Bishop Evans drowning to death attempting to save the lives of two illegals, who were found later to be drug mules - Creating massive costs for logistics/enforcement/processing/etc/etc , with our tax dollars, when already facing out of control inflation - Rapists, convicted murderers, drug dealers, child molesters, pedophiles, Cartel members and those on the Terror Watch list waltzing right on through. - Threatening America's national security - Turning the entire Southern Border into a hotbed of chaos and destroying those communities. Remember guys, it's NOT AN INVASION because God forbid Tim has to move an abandoned couch all by himself. -

I'm going to ping @BunnysBastatrds I told you months ago that timschochet was a worthless POS that would drag this place into the dirt just like he did at "the other place" Paying people, with no other real choices, sub minimum wage for back breaking labor, then if they get hurt, wants your tax dollars and my tax dollars to pay for it. Trying to gaslight everyone into comparing it with "jaywalking" then saying all of us here are the ones who are "dehumanizing" someone. And I'm not the only other person here saying it. It's lots of people. They watched timschochet drag the other place down for years. The site owner of the other place said in public that the stress of the personal attacks, gaslighting and BS from the forums was messing with his self care and personal health. Most of it coming from timschochet. The response? timschochet literally doubled downed until the place is basically on full lock down. No one can really talk about most current events anymore. He's a piece of trash and he gets off on exploiting those who can't defend themselves. He's going to absolutely ruin this place if he stays. -
Just call him Tim. Or the name on his birth certificate - Michael

Tucker Carlson might have saved the guy's life. By going public, if it's true, let's get that part out of the way, if it's totally true, and with a massive platform, it makes you difficult to impossible to kill. Imagine when Tiger Woods got into his scandal, if Nike found out about all those women BEFORE that all blew up in the national daily media cycle. Tiger Woods is worth billions to them. Or was. What would Nike do to silence those women? And so it's fair, same thing with Stormy Daniels, Blasey Ford, Reade, Gennifer Flowers and all the rest. If it's true, you want your story out there, because now it's a life insurance policy.

Now timschochet will start attacking you with his aliases in other threads. That's his MO. If he's not getting enough "attention", he'll try to generate it. At the "other place", he used to get his aliases to argue with each other. Then they'd show up and back up his main account by agreeing with him. The pathology behind it was disturbing. The key to understanding Tim is he doesn't believe anything he actually says. If he could get more attention by supporting Trump to no end, he'd do that instead. He's going to eventually drive people off one by one from this place, just like he did at "the other place" Using the same gutless tactics and warped mindset and toxic behavior here. Everyone knows he's Dozer FBG and Francie Football and others here. He claims he's a parent. So maybe this place and the other place were actually indirectly doing his kids a favor. By generating decades and 250K plus posts at the other place with his aliases, it's possible that distracted him enough from ruining the lives of those kids in day to day life. There is no way anyone who acts like he does could be a functional parent, much less a good one. Don't argue with him, just pity his children. I genuinely pity his children.

Here's the unintentionally hilarious part of all this garbage from Team Blue - Nancy Pelosi is 82 years old as of today. If Newsom manages to somehow win 2024 POTUS, then Pelosi would be the defacto President. No one believes Newsom would actually be running this country. He would be what he has always been, a human sock puppet for Pelosi to use him to pull the strings. So the endless geriatric problem in top level US leadership would continue with Newsom.
-
Tulsi Gabbard would be cruising to her 2nd POTUS term right now had she received full Party support in 2020. She is EXACTLY everything that fits the checklist that comes with an ideal candidate for Team Blue, other than the fact that she can't be controlled and she was willing to oppose Clinton. The belief that "there is nobody" is a farce. The problem is there is "nobody" who fits a practical checklist who is also controllable by corporate interests. Abagail Spanberger would make a more than competent POTUS. She's also a Democrat. But she is more of a traditional liberal than a standard issue woke psychotic radical leftist. So the MSM pretends she doesn't exist. It's easier to control a caricature and a stooge. DNC HQ wants Gavin Newsom. A human Ken doll from pure "privilege" from a Party that decries systemic racism. How thick is that irony for you? For those leftists in here who hate Trump, go ahead. If you want to denounce the Republican Party, go ahead. If you don't like tons of things that the GOP says and does, go ahead. There's actually A LOT wrong with Team Red. I won't deny that. But every single moment you support anything that lines up with identity politics, you are just enabling the kind of world where it's easier for your children to be future slaves and die. Do you think the radical left would show your kids any mercy if it's not "politically expedient" for them to do so?

Neera Tanden is running day to day operations in the White House. In effect, she's deciding policy, and of course, she was never elected. This is why there's a split right now with establishment Democrats. When Susan Rice was ousted, Obama was effectively shut out. Hence why Obama's personal Bib Fortuna in David Axelrod kept going into the press and talking up Gavin Newsom. Klobuchar lined up with Biden and Tanden. She should have been VPOTUS in the 2020 cycle. She's the only high level Democrat left who actually understands policy. Klobuchar understands that the DNC would rather line up behind Gretchen Whitmer in the future instead. Which, again, is totally insulting. Klobuchar is a sadist, but she's actually competent. To be shelved for these endless parades of incompetents was just too much. Of course the Biden Administration was going to fail, no one at a high level understood basic policy. Ron Klain is a dark money bundler, he has no business running logistics in the White House. Jennifer Dillon was sent to run Beto O'Rourke's failed campaigns because no one else wanted to hire her. Susan Rice was best known for enabling the Rwandan genocide. Jen Psaki is an idiot. She's also a bigot, but the MSM won't cover that. I wouldn't give Blinken a job washing my car. Buttigieg clearly is in over his head and Harris is a pure disaster zone. The short answer is Obama is an idiot. Don't get me wrong, Trump might be a grifter and an imbecile on the other side, but Obama had all the horses and ran this country into the ground. How do you control most of the MSM, Hollywood, most of Big Social Media, Big Tech, Big Education and most of Big Finance and still fail? How do you not have total lock down over every major institution in this country with that kind of pure leverage? Obama gave us all identity politics, pro trans extremism, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. But he's given a pass in the MSM because he's Team Blue and he's seen as the "cool black guy" in a sea of white wealthy leftists with too much guilt. But Obama did more than his share to utterly destroy this country.

Part of the issue is the slippery slope. When Eric Garcetti was Mayor of LA, he attempted to turn off electricity and water access to residents who wouldn't get the COVID19 vaccination. Garcetti tried to spin that by saying he was only shutting it down for "large unsanctioned parties" but he and Gavin Newsom both avoided the issue that the entire film industry was allowed to continue working and "gathering" while most other businesses and schools were locked down. Hollywood is basically a money printing machine for political donations for the DNC. So the question becomes what happens when everyone is forced to have a Ring doorbell/front door lock. Or everyone is forced to have an electric car. Or they take away all gas stoves and everything has heavy technology inside of it that can be "bricked" Including, the nightmare scenario, a true "cashless society" Imagine if your Christian views were seen as some form of "terrorism" one day, they backtrace you, then shut off your water line. Then your power. Then send a remote signal to "brick" your electric car. Then decide to freeze your "bank account" ( like happened in Canada) so you cannot do things like pay your rent or buy food. Or decide your car will shut down if you attempt to visit a certain city or place, or to a specific venue. It's the same reason Biden ( really Obama) demanded so many new IRS agents being hired and trained. They want your guns, your access, your information, then your free speech, your hope and the future of your children too. Consider the "Proscription" in ancient Rome. Octavian, the nephew of Julius Caesar, had a power sharing arrangement with Antony and Lepidus. To cement that power, they sent out assassins to kill an endless number of people who they felt couldn't be trusted nor be totally controlled. Lepidus had to write down the name of his own brother to show his loyalty and assure his own 1/3rd of the power. Those who tried to escape, anyone who was caught "aiding" them were killed as well. And their families. So the future will hold that once the government takes away your access to buy food, they'll threaten death, prison and suffering for someone like me or someone else here who would do something as "evil" as simply feeding you. Or giving you shelter. Or giving you a warm coat after you've been locked out of your own home. It's not just forsaking the teachings of Jesus and God. It's not just an attack on true freedom. It's not just an attack on the many good men who gave their lives so we could be born into liberty. It's a promise that they simply want you dead for the crime of disagreeing. God gave us free will. The current "Left" wants to try take that away, just like the Pharisees did. And they are willing to kill you, me, everyone here and all our children first, to see that become their new "utopia"

Müller : [after the meeting, by the fireplace] What was the story you were going to tell me? Heydrich : Story? Müller : Kritzinger. Heydrich : Yes, he told me a story about a man he'd known all his life, a boyhood friend. This man hated his father. Loved his mother fiercely. The mother was devoted to him but the father used to beat him, demeaned him, disinherited him. Anyway, this boy grew to manhood and was still in his thirties when the mother died, this mother who had nurtured and protected him. She died. The man stood as they lowered her casket and tried to cry but no tears came. The man's father lived to a very extended old age, withered away and died when the son was in his fifties, I think, and at the father's funeral, much to his son's surprise, he could not control his tears. He was wailing, sobbing. He was apparently inconsolable. Lost, even. That was the story Krtizinger told me. Adolf Eichmann : I don't understand. Heydrich : No? [Eichmann shakes his head] Heydrich : The man had been driven his whole life by hatred of his father. When the mother died, that was a loss, When the father died, the hate had lost his object, then the man's life was empty. Over. Adolf Eichmann : Interesting. Heydrich : That was Kritzinger's warning. Adolf Eichmann : What? That we should not hate the Israelites? Heydrich : No, that it should not so fill our lives; that when they are gone we have nothing left to live for. So says the story. ********** If there was justice, then Trump would be out of professional politics completely by his own choice. Once you take away "But Trump" from the Team Blue and DNC narrative, then what's left? They have nothing left but their endless attacks on every day working class Americans and their children. Once Trump is gone, one way or another, the woke activist zealots will have nothing left but their hate and their legacy of shame where they punished every day rank and file innocent American citizens as "collateral damage" to their worship of identity politics. Don't argue with them jon, just pity their children.

I've said this at "the other place" multiple times. A Constitutional Amendment where anyone who breached the Capitol on J6 is stripped of US citizenship and kicked out of the country. Also anyone who participated in the endless rioting, burning and looting in 2020 and 2021. Assets seized, all rights null and forfeited, given a trial, and if convicted, then shipped out. Never return. If you return, you are executed. That's it. No more complaints from either side. No one can say anyone "got away with anything" And the deterrent factor is fully realized. BTW, it would be about 5000 hard line MAGA activists and Republicans and projectible of about 75K hard line radical leftists, Antifa, fringe BLM, DNC operatives, Alex Soros paid operatives on the ground, some in the activist left leaning MSM and even some major Team Blue dark money bundlers. For Conservatives here who think it's too punitive, would you trade 5K people who actually broke the law and happen to be Conservative for 75K plus woke shock troopers and zealots? That kind of personnel sinkhole would wipe out a major cross section of the DNC's small dollar political fundraising. I'm willing to give you EXACTLY what you think you want. But in the end, you'll lose a mass of down the ticket races and elections for multiple future cycles to come. Stacey Abrams was given about 12 million in dark money to barnstorm about 850K plus new voter registrations in Georgia. Most of her paid shills through her "non profit" - Fair Fight Action, were also involved in many of those riots and looting. It's not a secret. The activist MSM just won't talk about it. I'll give you 5K MAGA hard liners on a silver platter. But I'll take up to 75K plus of your worst ground level paid Team Blue enforcers as well. Two different things can be true at the exact same time. The first is that some who breached during J6 also committed violence and broke the law. They should be punished. But the second is that there is a clear double standard at work, that is partisan, that goes beyond just these crimes, and becomes a purity test for one's personal political beliefs. This requires nuance and you show none of that at all. You just want blood. What happens if you get your wish? What happens if Team Blue and the DNC gets their wish? Seeing all Conservatives purged. Do you think it will stop there? No, it will end up where one day your kids will grow up and might say something that no longer fits the "narrative" as well. And do you think they will be shown any mercy? This is a situation where tyranny can come from BOTH DIRECTIONS. I can say those who breached the Capitol, that's indefensible. None of that helps the Conservative base at all. But I've never seen you offer one single shred of pure nuance about J6. But it's your free speech. When you tuck your kids in tonight, ask yourself what kind of world you are helping to create, that they are going to have to inherit one day. If you hate Trump, then fine. He's a grifter and an imbecile. I never want him in professional politics ever again. But people just like you have openly traded your children's futures to pursue more Orange Man Bad. You turned your kids into proxies of Shireen Baratheon to get in a few more partisan jabs. You hate Trump more than you love your own children. Trump is an exhausting worthless POS. However you defied basic biological imperative that's defined by fundamental parenthood. Point your finger. At a mirror.

Nazi groups march for Meatball Ron in Orlando
Blue Horseshoe replied to MDC's topic in The Geek Club
I disagree. The "demand" for White Supremacists and "Nazi" activists in this country is vastly outstripping it's actual supply. I'd wager many people are in the "Wait And See" camp. Nearly all Americans DO NOT support anything to do with white supremacy, Aryans and Nazi methodology and activism. However the majority of the current MSM has lied so much in the past 8 years, that everything said is now taken with a grain of salt. Team Blue kept shouting about White Nationalism, and when everyday working class people saw little to none of it in their daily lives, they just were "over saturated" with that narrative and started to tune out. The J6 Hearings, after the first night, began to lose to reruns of Young Sheldon in the ratings. Part of the problem is that there are actually really some Nazis in this country. Also White Supremacists who want to harm other people. Certainly it doesn't exist in the numbers that the activist left leaning MSM claims, but some are out there. And when the general public is battered into apathy, it removes real practical concern for real crimes being committed out there. Team Blue and the DNC wants a specific "narrative", and they are actually helping real White Supremacists out there by their constant saturation. Massive distrust of the MSM, Hollywood narratives, what's on Big Social Media, what's promoted by Big Tech, what's being said by powerful teachers unions, is the new normal. And across all demographics. And across Party lines. Team Blue controls most of these major institutions and players. They abused that power by pushing non stop narratives that end up often being cooked beyond all reasonable measure. Now no one trusts anything they say. And here you are, a low value poster, a low character person, a clear activist radical leftist, decrying the standard "Why Can't Everyone Just Be Better?" virtue signaling. You supported liars and now you are jilted that the general public will start treating these "institutions" as open liars. Big surprise. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. The everyday working class person cares about what the price are at the gas pump. What food costs at the grocery store. Whether they can afford their rent as it keeps rising up and up. What will happen to their kids, who were locked out schools by DNC and Team Blue cooked public policy during the worst parts of the pandemic. Things like Nazis and abortion rights ( I'm not saying these are not critical concerns for our society overall) are just going to get pushed down the list when compared to basic material needs for the rank and file family unit. Virtue signaling means close to nothing to people who are starving. The Young Turks, which leans progressive and wants to appeal to young voters, points out that current projections show that about 9 percent of young voters who voted in the 2020 cycle will very likely sit out and NOT VOTE in the 2024 general election. Many have just plain given up hope. Team Blue and the DNC cannot declare open war on the working class, then act outraged and bewildered when the general public tunes them out. Tunes out their lies. Also, sometimes, even tunes them out when it's the rare truth. Tunes out everything. Look at you, full of malice, and surprised at the apathy that became the end fallout of these stupid games. -

“To be abundantly clear, as a registered 501c3, BLMGNF cannot and did not commit any organizational resources toward the purchase of personal property by any employee or volunteer. Any insinuation or assertion to the contrary is categorically false. The narratives being spread about Patrisse have been generated by right-wing forces intent on reducing the support and influence of a movement that is larger than any one organization. This right-wing offensive not only puts Patrisse, her child and her loved ones in harm’s way, it also continues a tradition of terror by white supremacists against Black activists.... " - Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation issued the following statement amidst media controversy over allegations of fraud, tax evasion and financial crimes related to BLM donations being improperly used to personally enrich co-founder Patrisse Cullors. “They would rather take the same steps of our white oppressors and utilize the criminal legal system which is propped up by white supremacy, the same system they say they want to dismantle, to solve movement disputes....” - Shalomyah Bowers, personally hired by Cullors and on the Board of Directors for the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, answering allegations that he stole 10 million dollars in BLM charity donations for personal use/personal gain/to enrich his family and close friends with phantom service contracts. “The idea that (the foundation) received millions of dollars and then I hid those dollars in my bank account is absolutely false...That’s a false narrative. It’s impacted me personally and professionally, that people would accuse me of stealing from Black people.” - Patrisse Cullors, after signing a multiyear programming development deal with Warner Bros and gaining critical acclaim for her best selling memoir, "When They Call You A Terrorist" “I thought practicing radical transparency with black people would have been received well....” - Patrisse Cullors defending her "financial transparency" to BLM supporters everywhere, while promoting her book, “An Abolitionist’s Handbook: 12 Steps to Changing Yourself and the World.” “The constant harassment, online and offline, that I’ve experienced is unacceptable and dangerous...” - Patrice Cullors, live on Instagram as Candace Owens arrived uninvited with a camera crew at Cullors’ Los Angeles-area home. Owens was there to film a documentary about BLM’s finances and ask questions about the foundation’s property purchases. Owens did not speak to Cullors and was turned away at the front gate. “I look back at that and think, that probably wasn’t the best idea...” - Patrice Cullors, after openly admitting to throwing "private parties" at said controversial 6 million dollar mansion. Afterwards, the BLM Foundation released a statement saying, "...it was reviewing it's policies..." “The only place in my hood to buy groceries is a 7-Eleven....” - Patrisse Cullors, an often repeated childhood story used to appeal to potential working class donors. "It is such a trip now to hear the term '990... I'm, like, ugh. It's, like, triggering....This is, like, deeply unsafe. This is being literally weaponized against us...People's morale in an organization is so important. But if their organization and the people in it are being attacked and scrutinized at everything they do, that leads to deep burnout. That leads to deep, like, resistance and trauma...." - Patrisse Cullors, on charity financial disclosure statements that are required by federal law, while claiming that activists’ lives are put at risk and that they endure trauma by having to disclose their charities’ finances. “If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes....It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement.....” - Hawk Newsome, Black Lives Matter, New York, on the negative impact of widespread media coverage of allegations of fraud, financial crimes, tax evasion and abuse of charity donations by Patrisse Cullors. -

Biden cites busy schedule when asked about visiting East Palestine, Ohio: 'It's going to be a while' .....President Joe Biden cited his hectic schedule when he was asked Saturday why he had not yet visited East Palestine, Ohio, months after the town was devastated by a train derailment that polluted the environment and contaminated water......"Well, I haven't had the occasion to go to East Palestine," Biden began. "There's a lot going on here, and I just haven't been able to break."...."And so it's going to be a while. ...." he concluded... .....East Palestine was devastated by a derailed freight train on Feb. 3, which spewed toxic chemicals and caused health and environmental worries for locals. Though officials reassured the public that the town's air and water were safe, residents claimed to suffer from nausea, dizziness and headaches in the days after the disaster.....Biden promised to visit East Palestine "at some point" when asked about it March 2. According to Senator J.D. Vance, cleanup efforts are still ongoing, with "thousands of tons" of local soil still containing chemicals.... During an August flight to Milwaukee, Biden nearly flew over East Palestine, which invited criticism from Ohio Republicans....."One hundred and sixty-six days ago, Joe Biden promised he would visit East Palestine. He has failed to keep that promise," Senator J.D. Vance said in a previous statement. "Not only has Joe Biden refused to visit East Palestine, but he has also refused to grant critical assistance to the recovery effort....." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-cites-busy-schedule-asked-visiting-east-palestine-ohio -

One Year Later, Troops and Veterans Involved in Afghanistan Exit Grapple with Mental Scars ......."I want nothing to do with the government, nothing to do with the military," said the airman, whose separation is still being processed. "Before, my plan had been to make it to my 20 [years of service] and then switch to a [General Schedule] job, that kind of route, and now I don't want to do any of that."......The Afghanistan evacuation effort also saw the final U.S. casualties of the war when a suicide bomber struck at the airport's Abbey Gate on Aug. 26, killing 11 Marines, a sailor and a soldier; wounding more than 20 other troops; and killing at least 170 Afghans.....But suicide is only the most extreme result of a mental health crisis, and active-duty service members and veterans involved with the evacuation interviewed by Military.com described being haunted a year later by what they experienced.....A survey released earlier this month of 1,450 military community members who helped with the evacuation found that 41% of those who answered reported suffering from trauma as a result of the withdrawal..... ......"That is a debilitating statistic," said Matt Zeller, a senior adviser at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. "Four out of 10 veterans involved in this effort over the last year are continuing to suffer right now. And let's be clear: Moral injury is the most insidious of the injuries that a veteran can suffer."....Lucier, who served in the Marine Corps, is one of the hundreds of veterans who plunged into helping evacuate Afghans who aided the 20-year U.S. war effort after Kabul fell to the Taliban last year. He, like many other veterans, has continued that work over the past year, an effort that takes a mental and emotional toll and yields a growing list of difficult stories. The brother with a severe physical disability, whose family "begged and begged and begged" for him to be evacuated with them, but who didn't meet eligibility criteria. The father in the United States who is trying to convince his ex-wife to allow their 3- and 5-year-old sons to come to America, even though she'll have to stay in Afghanistan because she doesn't have a visa. "The final stroke in a war that I fought in that was really, inclusively, finally lost was a pretty immediate emotional low," Lucier said in an interview with Military.com. "And then I think staying in this space has also been kind of detrimental and deleterious to my own mental health. But I do it because, if not me, then who?...." https://www.military.com/daily-news/2022/08/26/one-year-later-troops-and-veterans-involved-afghanistan-exit-grapple-mental-scars.html -
