Ramaswamy is angling, IMHO, to trade his endorsement for Trump for the Secretary Of Education post. If Ramaswamy overhauls American education, that's a win that will be transformative for him to run for POTUS eventually. This is the correct strategy for Vivek. He knows Nikki Haley is almost completely assured of getting the VPOTUS offer from Trump after the primaries. He's looking for the 10 percent chance that Trump picks him for VPOTUS or he hopes to destabilize Haley down the road from getting the ticket herself in a future primary. In the meantime, he can eye Sherrod Brown's Senate seat in Ohio at some point. Or even challenge for Governor one day. He appeals to young voters. What he's doing is guaranteeing if they keep attacking him, he'll use his influence on the young vote to stay home because any hope for change is pointless with the "establishment" Both Haley AND Ramaswamy won out. Haley by pure fortune and timing. The attack on Israel lines up with her perpetual Pro Israel stances. Ramaswamy by pure personal force, which is more interesting. He creates his own good timing. If Ramaswamy is raising discussion about what he's saying in the national daily media cycle, which has happened, then he's "won" to his goals.

"New Jersey, where I'm from, is segregated. As a black person, no matter how nice I am, hard working, I cannot live where I want to live. Blacks are forced to live in overcrowded urban areas where there are no or little access to resources such as grocery stores. Nothing is near. There are miles of areas of just people living in poverty, no stores, no jobs, only government low income housing filled with blacks. The thing is, if you are poor and need low income housing there are options if you are white. You are not sent to Newark projects, you are sent to suburban apartments and no one knows you are living in subsidized housing. You are just a tenant. Everyone else is working. They don't know you are living in a subsidized rented apartment or home. Blacks are forced or relegated to projects where you are in a food desert. It's all poor people for miles and miles. That was not created by blacks. The schools have nothing in them. The books aren't modern, there is no air conditioning or equipment and the teachers tend to be....not the best. They aren't completely certified...there are alternative means to become a teacher and we tended to get those teachers (hadn't graduated yet-we had loads of subs). Even if you have the brains, means and motivation to move out of your community, racism prevents you from purchasing out of your neighborhood as people refuse to rent or sell to blacks. Even if you are a good person, as most people are, they refuse. Times have changed, yes, but still today, I cannot rent or buy in the Ironbound section of Newark. There are locked neighborhoods."

The strategy here by Ramaswamy is to push Haley out of VPOTUS contention. Trump needs to split the ticket with a minority woman. Haley is the most ideal VPOTUS candidate EVER. There has never existed a political candidate, with her resume, demographic, background and lack of real scandal, more practically suited to slip right into the office of the Vice President. Her growing numbers, her appeal to suburban women voters, her Pro Israel stance ( for her entire career, has never wavered) and her desirability to the Military Industrial Complex are all value adds to Trump. What Ramaswamy is trying to do is associate Haley with all "America Last" policies happening right now ( i.e. Why is America sending billions overseas to total strangers than helping it's own citizens? This also drags in the issue of spending billions on illegal immigrants but not giving a single damn about Americans in poverty or the homeless crisis) The fight for VPOTUS, and even Speaker Of The House, is so fierce because the pathway to POTUS is so close to touch for them. No one would be surprised if the corporate establishment simply had Donald Trump assassinated at this point. In order to get Gavin Newsom on the ticket, Team Blue and the DNC need to "neutralize" Biden and Harris together. This is why you see Harris going on bizarre road trips, keep as much distance from Biden as possible. Because to linger too long in the same spot with Biden will simply encourage the corporate establishment to find the "simple solution" to their problem of Biden/Harris looking like a loser for the 2024 general election. If Trump wins POTUS, if he survives the legal battles, the clear cheating that will happen in the 2024 cycle and what will likely be a future assassination attempt on his life by the corporate establishment, he will likely offer Ramaswamy the Secretary Of Education post.
