I’ve heard of it happening. Very rare but it can happen. Glad they were able to make it to the hospital in time. Job I just took is working with NICU babies so I manage the transport unit that handles them. Have had a few pneumothoraxes (air in chest cavity in layman’s terms) in the babies the last few weeks but RSV has been HORRIBLE this year so I’ve been busy ever since I took over. I LOVE the job working with the neonatal babies. Didn’t plan on working with NICU when I was in school but ever since accepting this position I don’t see me doing anything else but trying to help babies survive into childhood 🥺
