I’m just a provider. I’m not a “manager” or anything like that. We have a the LPNs rotate with different providers usually every week. Some will stay with one doc cause they’ve been with that one for years. But the MD just asked how his performance was & if we had any problems with him which I don’t and thought he was actually one of the best ones we have

That’s the thing. This is the ONLY time he left. Which also makes me wonder who they’re hiring that’s got them acting like that to where they “investigate” employees randomly like that. The MD I hardly even associate with cause he’s hardly ever on the floor. The LPN is paid by the hour so it gets into if he clocks out to do that & clocks back in to continue work after he got back can they request documentation proving it? If he has none, can they look into the CAD system or call police departments? I know if you’re sick they tend to want doctors notes if you miss work. But this situation is one I haven’t ever encountered and just seems illegal to me

Common sense would tell you that right? Which is why I’m blown away by the fact that the MD is trying to get someone to look into the CAD system or call police departments to see if he was telling the truth. Or saying they want to see a towing receipt. The entire thing is insane to me and to y’all as well so I’m not the only one thinking “wow this guy is psychotic”.

I’ve already given him that. I’m trying to help him by asking you guys cause I can’t find stuff in google and I don’t have the time to really research it. Was curious to see if you guys might’ve knew the answer off the cuff. Guy is a legit nice guy and literally the only LPN I like working with me. The other women are HORRIBLE at their job & SO lazy dirty as well cause they let trash & food all over our break room couch that ended up having tons of ants get on it cause they can’t clean up after themselves. It’s just a complete Sh1t show with those women and I’d rather they be fired than the guy

My thing is, I like the guy and he’s done nothin but good work IMO. Hasn’t given me problems. Been on time every day. Leaves when he’s supposed to. Nice to everyone. Hasn’t missed work. But the MD talked to us providers and asked us what we thought about him cause he said, and I quote, “he has been going to the bathroom a lot when he works and will be in there a while”. I haven’t had that problem with him and he’s literally the ONLY one that I don’t have to track down to do his job like I do the women they’re CONSTANTLY on a smoke break and I’ve complained about that but “they’ve been here a while”. Either way, I don’t want my fav employee and the only one I can get to do actual work to be fired/quit and I’m left with just those women Hence, why I’m trying to see if it’s illegal for them to do that cause I don’t want him quitting or getting fired

Nah I’m good. This is an LPN that works for us and quite frankly the only LPN I actually like there cause he works instead of chain smokes like the rest of the women here

I dunno if they do or not just seemed illegal to me and like the ppl are purposely a-holes. But I would like to know if it’s illegal for them to be pulling up essentially their private info on the CAD or asking police departments about the wreck

I agree. Which is why I’m curious to see if it’s legal. Cause I find it asinine and seems to me to be opening up legal recourse. But if they leave work aren’t supposed to provide an “excuse”? I mean this is his FIRST time even leaving work. His quality of work is fine & there’s literally NO other problems. Basically, I’m wanting to see if they’re breaking the law cause they are I’m leaving & working elsewhere

Constant bathroom breaks that last 20 minutes. Saying he was giving his wife his debit card at a gas station but no one saw his wife & he went to the back of the gas station & then came back around from the opposite side. I guess the medical director here has had druggies in the past so he wants to make sure this guy isn’t lying. I just need to know if it’s legal or not. We ain’t tryna get sued

No he clocked out, ran to get his wife and take her home, then came back up here. Spent 1 1/2 hrs out of the office.
