You seem quite threatened by the LGTBQ community's visibility rise, but it's the the rising decibel level from positions of hate that are intensifying that visibility. I don't see LGTBQ conversion camps springing up anytime soon, and I'd oppose them if they did.

You really overdramatize what's going on, but I will go on record as saying I disagree with any hormone therapy or surgery any earlier than 18 years old, maybe 21. I do support a society that accepts that some young children will identify themselves as the other gender, and they should not be subjected to the kind of hatred that results in confusion and shame that sadly and all too over leads to profound emotional issues down the road. I know a couple that went overboard when their 9-year-old daughter decided she was a boy. It was almost as if they wanted to be trendy and have a transgender child. I found their celebratory behavior disgusting. So at this point in life your daughter thinks she's a son. Does this really need to go out on social media?

I think they're better off not being around hateful, transphobic people. I wouldn't want my kids to read the kind of anti-LGBTQ vitriol that gets written here daily, even hourly and often by the minute.

Secondly, just because they support the LGBTQ community by displaying this flag doesn't mean they're gay and part of that community. Lastly, the sign says Federation of Canadian Naturists, which is part of the international nudist group. This chapter has been around for almost four decades. There are lots of places in Canada where it is perfectly legal to practice naturalism, and there are myriad groups and businesses that support the LGBTQ community even if the owner isn't in it. That support particularly is strong in major metro areas. Would I take my children to an event where a couple of naked old dudes are there with their numnums dragging around on the ground? Hell no. Do I support them having a booth at this event and supporting the LGBTQ community? Hell yes.
