If you only see hateful rhetoric from the left and none from Trump, then there isn't much point in discussing this any further with you. I could quote his Veteran's Day speech with the vermin and enemy from within talk. I could also pull tons of links with the reaction from the speech and how Trump is taking his followers towards fascism. But what would be the point? You, like many others here, would gloss it over and mention that Hillary called his supporters deplorables. I don't know what your deal is with this. You seem to be trying to get me in some gotcha thing. Trouby asked if I consider myself centrist. I replied that my political views were my own and centrist seemed about right. I don't label myself anything. My position on anything only represents that, my position. I'm not pretending to be a part of any group. You claim to be an "actual centrist" and that you don't like Trump. Yet, you don't see any hateful rhetoric coming from him, defend him at every turn, and are an election denier. At least I'm being genuine.

Thank-you Tim. I agree with most everything you wrote and you put it better than I could have. I'm losing steam and getting very burnt out on politics. I'll be in the Bunny threads for a while. Raider, maybe we would agree on more things than it would seem at first glance. Either way, I'm taking a break for a while.

I guess one could call me centrist because I don't particularly care for either party right now and especially don't like the divide we have. I don't take my marching orders from anyone. We can agree to disagree on how moderate Trump was/is. I've only seen one hate speech lately, which was appalling. Yeah, I don't like that POS.

I think my political views are uniquely my own. Centrist sounds about right. I'm obviously very anti-Trump but something like this wouldn't sway me one way or the other. Before you say I am the target audience, I don't have any sort of feed with BS like this to reinforce anything. I like to think that I can make up my own mind but we're all influenced. I just find most meme's very cringe in general.

Nah, Trump has 4,095 lawsuits over the past three decades. Some of which are still open. I have a strong hunch he's been found guilty of fraud in NY because he IS a fraud and always has been. How about we DON'T have any politically motivated prosecutions in the future. Or better, let's at least not hope for them on either side. Let's quit muddying up this thread. I hear you. I was agreeing with everything KSB2424 said. I have no problems with protests in general. When protestors start to threaten and endanger non-protestors, I think that crosses the line. That one video struck a nerve with me. I used to live in the Twin Cities and have been at that very intersection many times. I could just easily see that man trapped in his car being me. Where was the police presence? IMO, there should have been plenty of police there to protect the people in traffic or those that might have accidentally stumbled into that mess. Round up anyone getting out of line and show no leniency.
