I understand exactly why people like Trump. He was a voice for the people that felt like government forgot them. The swaths of people that lost manufacturing jobs during the Clinton years. The people who felt left out of the club. People who felt like the elites looked down their nose at them, called them deplorables. He was a big F you to the man, to the machine, to the people that thought they were better than all of them. I know all about it. But here's the thing Jerry, it was all a con. Trump is exactly who he they hate. He IS the guy who looks down on the working class and who wants nothing but money and power. These people were all duped. You were duped. Many of them had enough in 2020 which is why he lost. And he was gonna lose again until he pivoted to the "bros", tech bros, cyrpto bros, he told them all how rich he could make them, and here we are. The maga base was there on Jan 6 and they were pissed. They attacked cops at the behest of their father. He has told them all how he's a victim and how he will fight for them. Weak beaten down people see a leader in him, someone who they never could be. A strong no nonsense guy but again it's all a con. He's weak. So don't tell me I don't know anything about Trump. I know exactly who he is and who his followers are. I've lived it.

No I want to watch America succeed. I want to see our constitution followed, laws bided by, people treated with respect, health and prosperity. Pretty much everything that Trump has tried to destroy the past month.

I'm rooting for Trump to fail before he destroys America. In order for that to happen you cultists need to wake up and realize what he's doing. That's not going to happen until you're personally affected.

Valid. There are a few people here concerned about Musk having everyone's SSN and payment information now. At the end of the day 90% of us want what is right.
