    Just Traded

not lookin good my man, especially considering daunte is not even playing! when in doubt, hold on to rb depth, as late as you can, until you absolutely need a player at another position...

    Kevin Jones

how about the 2 shots from the 1 yardline, netting a fat 'loss of downs'

    What's the REAL story?

Ds keying on him is a crock of shite. This is not a league built on college repuatation. If he ran off a couple of 50 yarders 1st week, then they'd be keying on him. He's just adjusting to the speed of the NFL. Runs that he used to break to the outside against the likes of Washington state LBs are not going to yield more than 3 yards in the NFL. Once he adjusts to that, he will start having more success...

Will Musa take over for Jamal this season?

RBBC IMO. Even Anderson looked better than jamal...
  7. got him and duece for steve smith and jamal. I feel like i robbed the guy. Tatum is looking solid, and jamal is dead weight at this stage. Duece for smith is a was imo, duece is running hard and still getting 20 touches even with bush...

    Just traded

jamal sUx0r Lewis and Steve smith for Tatum and Duece Mc... Not knowing the rest of either rosters, who got the better deal?!@?
  9. With that D, McNair will be a difference maker. Difference maker being defined as one who will make a difference from the mess that was the baltimore O last year. He already has. They lost to one of the top teams in the AFC, on the road at a very tough venue to boot, with bad weather. Gotta echo Jt's sentiment. There will be fireworks, but they will win games because of McNair that they would be losing because of retardboy. That is a difference maker. If anything, Jamal's lackluster running has been a cause of their O not clicking better than it has. If they get the ball running, Heap and the WRs are more than capable of stretching the field, and McNair more than capable of getting them the ball. They gotta move away from jamal and go with Anderson/taylor. That O will get better, no doubt in my mind. From a fantasy perspective, I wouldn't get my hopes high, except for mason in a PPR league...
  10. The patriots have a contract waiting for you. Just fill in your name at the top, sign at the bottm and you'll be on the roster...

    Jamal Lewis

RBBC is in full effect, as of last night. None will emerge as the lead back. Anderson looked good in limited touches, as did MUSA. Jamal just looks like he's either done, or just doesn't care. Very frustrating. Their schedule is not easy by any means, meaning the baltimore rb spot is officially worthless. I picked that bum up in 3 leagues, thinkin it was a steal in the mid 3rd...

    Jamal lewis

same line, against same D, and mike anderson is running pretty decent. Jamal been suckin it all year. Me thinks he'll be losing his job soon. At best, it's turning into a RBBC. Wastoid. Thought he was a steal in the 3rd too!
  13. dont have these 2, but you best bet your sweet a$$ i'm gonna start fred taylor and drew-jones against some good matchups, most definitely against houston...
  14. Numbers look great from yesterday, and the game was competitive. Anyone that watched the game have any opinions above and beyond just the numbers? I know it's 1 game for the qb, but was there some chemistry, did he look good, or just got lucky? NO D is not the worst anymore. Any insight is appreciated. I'm looking to move him, since he just had a solid game, just want to make sure I don't give away what'll end up being a solid receiver at the end of the year...

    Galloway outlook movign forward

    anyone else have any insight?!?
  16. haha. When they got that pass inteference penalty, I was saying the same thing. How is he going to blow this one. I figured he'd just lose the ball on downs, but he 1 upped me!

    Harington look very good

Saban is a goat, tell all your friends!!!
  18. The recipe for bledsoe is mega blitz every down. Over the duration of a 60 minute game, he might burn you twice if they pick the blitz up well enough, but the upside will be atleast 2 turnovers, as well as all sorts of terrible passes. If everyone in the league would have stuck to this formula a few years back, bledsoe would be on a farm somewhere, far far away from football. The eagles are always blitz happy, so he'll always have his worst games against them. He needs to quit football already. The blueprint for disaster exists, not sure why all teams that play him don't employ it...

    McNabb made T.O.?

I gotta admit, before the season started, I was not so high on McNasty, not because I didn't believe him to be a good plyaer, but because the departure of TO left him with suspect wrs. Well he has answered that call and then some. To answer your question, McNabb didn't make TO, because TO came into Philly with superstar numbers. However, it is quite evident that McNabb can thrive without TO, or a TO calibur Wr. He is in a league of his own this year. Good for him...

    Joe Horn

youngbloods are taking over in NO. I think he will continue at the pace he's on, bout 3-4 touches a game for 50-70 yards, a td every 3rd game if you're lucky... Sometimes it's better for a receiver to have a retard for a qb, one who will lock in on you. A quality qb like brees goes through his checkdowns and takes the best option out there. Maybe coverage will change against them, with more attention going to the youngins. He's still a skilled receiver...

    Colts RB's vs Titans

popular consensus is that colts will give adaai more burn once the game is out of hand, which makes sense. However, it is a crapshoot as to who will get better #s. Both should do well, but knowing the colts, they can score 4 tds via the air from 40 yards away in the 1st quarter, and then attmpt to run it in the 2nd half. There really is no logical way to decipher who will get better #s, but I do believe addai will get more touches...

    Rudi for Tiki

At this stage of the season, I'd take rudi over tiki any day of the week. if for nothing else, jacobs is a beast and will vulture atleast 5 tds from tiki, if not damn near every td inside the 5 yardline. Tiki is a yardage beast, and will end the season with heavy rusing and receiving yards, but tds are gonna be suspect. Rudi smells the endzone and gets paid consistently...
  23. I own SA in 2 leagues. Got him at 3 in 1, and then had the 1st overall in another and took him so I could root for him in 2 leagues as opposed to him and LJ, or LT. I was hella pissed when he went down, but now, looking at his schedule down the stretch run, if I can get by the next few weeks, it's gonna be gold Jerry! HE'll be fresh while most other backs will be dinged up, and a few will be missing significant time. I'm 3-1 in 1 league, 2-2 in another, lets see how it plays out... 24. whats that something your grandpa walked around saying about his hip?!? THis is 2006. A lot of atheletes come back STRONGER from serious injuries, just because of the methods in which they rehab. It's not like he shattered his knee. Very little doubt that he will be back at 100% strength pre injury...
  25. Well the loss to the bears took care of that business. They should be pretty well off by then, no doubt about that, but the middle games will be nice production out of a fresh SA...
