Addai will be top ten RB's this year.

dude, the burden on proof falls on those making the claims. To prove he won't is to prove a negative, which is not feasible. Your logic behind the claim is flawed at best. Learn your logic...

    Holding onto Warner?

Barring injury, Warner is done in AZ. Either Leinart does well, the team starts to win and they move ahead with him, or he doesn't do well, the team keeps losing, and they stick with him to get the experience under his belt for next year. No looking back at Warner now, Denny has changed the guard. And deservingly so. Warner, for all intents and purposes, is done as a starting QB in the NFL, and most likely even as a backup. Teams are not going to invest in him, as he is not even a decent backup anymore. He just can't keep from fumbling...

2 Driver TDs on that series....

Don't think he'll be a bust, but clearly the youngblood is becoming farve's #1. There should be enough garbage time passing for that team for the ball to go around for both of them. he looked like a retard in heat last night though...

    Drew Bennett

I'm dropping him for furrey. He might end hte year with decent numbers, but will be too inconsistent to start on a regular basis. If you can find a more upside wr in the wire, I'd drop him...
  5. better upside?!? Furrey looks pretty damn good, solidified as a #2. Brady spreads the love, and their running game is starting to crank. Close call imo, gabriel is a real talent. Any thoughts?!?

    mike furrey vs. doug gabriel

any logic behind that?!? furrey looked damn good yesterday... too many receivers/tes in NE...

  8. Last week I looked at the maurice drew thing as an anomoly. He fit the gameplan for playing from behind, even though Fred taylor is a solid receiver. But now even this week, he gets minimal touches, isn't hurt, and drew is in there in key situations?!? Did we just see a changing of the guard overnight?!? Very strange...

    Oh crap

Watching them tonite, I think there is a serious chance. They are manhandling one of the better teams in the nfl, albeit without the league MVP. No one in the north has a chance, vikes blew theirs at home already. If that offense clicks at even 75% of what they are tonight, and that D shutting everyone down, it might not even be close any games after the half. WOW...

Whats the deal with Freddy taylor?!?

Regardless, it is disturbing for taylor owners. Why are they abandoning the run with a solid rb like fred, and a lead no less! Against the colts, they were trailing, but only by a td at most at any given time, and yet they abandoned taylor, and jones ran wild. Something is fishy in denmark. They are not a pass happy team, and their D is great. Something is very very fishy...

Whats the deal with Freddy taylor?!?

With SA down, I got no choice but him. Guess who my #2 is. Jamal lewis. What a joke. I might just start jones-drew next week, the kid is electric...

    Matt Jones

I'm not saying he isn't, and I'm not saying he'll end the season with 13 catches for 208 yards. My point is he isn't going to produce like the people with a hard on for him believe he is going to produce. There is a significant middle ground between 13 for 208 and 95 for 1400 with 15 tds, and that's where he will end up, much like 80% of the rest of the wrs in teh league. People on here run around like he's an established player, and the jags offense lives and dies by his playing, which is highly inaccurate. And while he's only played 3 games so far, the jags history, leftwich's history and their solid defense should hold some weight in backing up the opinion that they will be passing minimally at best. And who exactly annoited him their best playmaker? Via the 3 games he played, one of which he did nothing it. Get my point, there is far more evidence to support the theory that he will be mediocre than there is that he'll be a stud. Wishful thinking doesn't pay the bills last I heard...

    Matt Jones

Yes, he had a 4 way with my mom, sister, and girlfriend, you got me there moron... No venom, just trying to make a counterpoint. From the preseason, certain 'knowitall' morons have had a hard on for MJones, as they have had a hard on for wally lundi, and 5 other players that will not do much this year. Sad part is, after seeing a few games, you still can't let the hard on down. You want it sooo bad, he will he will produce. I'm telling you he won't. Time will tell, and I'll bookmark this thread for the upcoming weeks. If he blows up, I'll eat my words like a man, something I doubt you or any others will after he doesn't. And to say this: When healhty, MJ is as much a threat as any WR in the NFL. is just pure idiocy. Not even, it goes beyond idiocy, it's retarded...
  14. p00h

    Matt Jones

Yeah he threw for less yards because Mjones wasn't there, because everyone knows the Jags offense lives and dies by the great established Matt Jones. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact the colts can be run on, and they ran up about 200 yards. Nothing to do with that, or the fact that they just aren't that great a passing team. It's all matt jones. He's proven himself over the past 8 years as the undisputed leader of that offense... You all are probably the same people sitting at home sunday hoping a team will go for a 2 point conversion because they're down by 10 and you're getting 8...

    Matt Jones

4 games against the titans and texans = lots of maurice jones drew touches. Are people that hard up for Matt Jones that they believe the Jags to be a passing team?!? Silly wabbits...

    Matt Jones

LOL @ breakout game. Everyone's been so hard up for MJ, every game is going to be a breakout game. News Flash, the Jax are not a great passing team, and they have a great D. While I am in absolute awe of his physical prowess, I expect him to end the year in the 30-50 range in terms of WRs. Not exactly starting material. He'll most likely have a game or 2 where he catches a 60 yard td or 2, but thats the extent of it. Do not get your hopes high this year, and most likely as long as he's a jaguar he will not be a beast of a receiver, in terms of fantasy football.... Edit: and that's not even taking into account the current injury. Even if he was healthy, he shouldn't be starting in anything less than 14 team leagues, and even then only if you start 3 wrs...

    Cleveland D

Are they decent? That raiders line is brutal, I can see a half decent D blitzing the hell out of them and at worse getting a bunch of sacks, at best causing a few turnovers that could lead to Defensive TDs. Any opinions. The stats on them don't really show them as being an aggressive bunch flying to the ball, but this is the waiders...
  21. p00h

    Case in point why...

hey aardvark, hows about giving the flip side of the equation. How are people that went jordan/Kevin Jones doing? How about those that went Caddilac/Mcghaee?!? Moral of the story, keep stupid theories to yourself...

    Martz Vs. his old team

Martz the idiot like a lot of things. He likes to pass on every down, he likes to have his owners write notes of confidence so he can show the team he's still in charge, he like young thai boys. Doesn't mean he has the means to always execute his likings. Matter of fact, he is usually very unsuccessful in executing his likings. Well except for the young thai boys. And that's strictly cuz he has money, the boys don't really like like him...
  23. p00h

    Again...Shawn Alexander's injury

Hasslesnacks will spread the love. I wouldn't go gettin a woody over branch just yet. He'll put up decent numbers, nothing to blow anyone away though. Last I heard, that DJax is pretty damn good, and has a decent history with the qb...

    Jamal Lewis for Deon Branch

This statement would imply that branch's value is greater than that of Jamal, which is absurd. I'd pull the trigger on that and throw a happy ending to top it off!

    Gore Expected Back for Chiefs

Also, there are other ways a team scores beside from the 1 yard line. People are retarded. This cat is running like a horse. Granted goalline fumbles will always turn a coach off, but it's not like this is barlow, getting 2.6 ypc, b!tching about something or other, and on top of that losing the ball on the goalline. This guy runs hard, will get 20+ touches a game, and at worst will lose the ball inside the 5. Even that is suspect, it's not like they have tj '2 yards guaranteed' duckett behind him. It's all just a ploy to get his head straight, IMO...
