Subject says it all, just wondering if last year's purchasers will get free upgrades this season or am I just being a cheap bastard? Issac

For anyone that may have experienced this problem, please e-mail me at brainsicko@aol.com with a possible solution. This happened to me last night right before a draft, fixed itself right after draft, and is now doing it again 2 hours before my draft tonight. No matter what scoring system I put in, the results are exactly the same. I have put in 100 points per completion and 100 per reception yet the results are same as when I put 0 points for everything. It never changes, anyone got an idea before I kick this screen in? I have done about 20 mock drafts using compiler with no problems, now my real drafts are starting and Ive had back to back problems that make no sense. Issac

Update on that last post...there were 150 seperate files named 1-150 class. Issac

How do you open this file? Once I downloaded it, I tried to open but I needed to select what program it was created with. I chose Excel but when I opened it, all I got was a few characters and nothing else. Also, when I tried to open it, there was over 30 seperate files in there. Can someone help me out here. Issac

When I tried the QBs worked fine, however the RBs were mismatched. 1 of these must have a player that the doesnt have accounted for Im assuming. Issac

I posted a message a few days ago and never did get an explanation. No matter what the scoring system is set to my baseline does not come out correct. I made no changes with scoring system to v2.1 and changed roster to QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,DEF, with 1 back up at each positon. With 10 starting Qbs and 10 back ups, the baseline rank at 10, and 1.0 for adjustment, the 8th QB is still set to 0. Can I get an explanation for this? Issac

GentleDragon, Thanks I use yahoo and I will try that tonight. I thought that because I use AOL that when I click on 1 screen it automatically minimizes the back screen into the taskbar that I could not try this. However I can open Explorer and use it for my browser instead and dont seem to have that problem. I appriciate the info, this should work for me tonight. -Issac

In the Excel1 link there was mention of WinMx. There is a similiar place to download anything...music, videos, software, etc. You can try either kazaa.com or kazzalite.com. I personally go with the lite version because it blocks spyware from being placed on your computer. -Issac

I had this happen to me as well, problem is I cant recall exactly what I did to fix it. If Im remembering correctly when I copied and pasted the new stats, I put them in the compiler on the right hand side of Site C projected stats. Problem was there are formats in that area even though it appears blank. So when I ranked them in order and copied and pasted them into the Site B stats, I also copied the formats which caused the #N/A to show where the projected points should be. What I did was go to the "FF Today 2003 Projected Stats" area and copied the the 1st row of stats(example AC5-AG5 for WRs) and pasted just the formats down the entire columns of Site B stats(columns BF-BJ all the way down to the end of players list). Do this by selecting "Paste Special" instead of paste and selecting the formats radio button. Try this and see if it works, hopefully so. -Issac

I was going to suggest using "hide" like I do for v. 1.5. With 1.5 you can select tabs of any column you do not wish to print and right click then select "hide". It will not print if hidden. However with v. 2.0 there are no tabs on top of columns so you can not do this option. Best thing to adjust is what has been suggested...print preview then setup. Just wish there was a way not to print page 2 of a 3 page printjob. -Issac

The main problem I have with Buddy is it just takes too long to get the players in. Most people select their pick within 30 seconds of their turn. Once team 1 selects I have to minimize the window to get to Buddy, select the position, select the name, then minimize Buddy to get back to draft. By then at least 2 more teams have selected so I go back and do it again. By the time it is my pick I'm like 3-5 players behind. So using the time it takes to finish placing those players in Buddy, then searching the overall rankings to look for highest player under the settings, everyone in draft is cussing me out for taking so long. And if you have to get up for any reason eg phone, bathroom, fridge, screaming kids, etc. you can forget about trying to catch up. Any suggestions to help speed things up? Personally I just print the cheatsheets and overall rankings and mark off players with highlighter and dont bother using Buddy at all. -Issac

Ok, slightly different settings change but same result today. Settings are...8 Teams, 2 Starting QBs 1 backup, completions 2, attempts -1, INTs& Fum -2, Pass Yds 25 per point, Rush Yds 15 per point, TDs 6, Baseline rank 16.0, Adjustment 1.0, Adjusted baseline 16.0. Just compliled sheets and the 9th QB, McNair 387.4 ranked 46, valued at 0. Glitch in the system or with me? -Issac

Sorry, I accidently deleted part of my post. What I was trying to say is I thought with the settings I have, baseline rank 20 with a 10 team 1 starting QB league, that the 20th QB should be set at 0. However Im receiving Favre, the 8th ranked QB, as the QB set to 0. Is this correct? -Issac

While tinkering with the baseline adjustments Im noticing that they dont quite work like Id like them to. Currently, I have the baseline rank set at last player selected(10 teams, 1 QB, set at 20). I have the adjustment set at 1.0, however the 8th QB(Favre). Am I doing something wrong, or is it supposed to be the 8th QB set at 0 with these settings? I thought under these settings that the last QB selected, or 20th ranked QB should be set at 0. -Issac
