Which rookie has the most fantasy impact in 2010?
WoodDuck2003 replied to Cara's topic in FFToday Board
This year I would think Spiller will be the top performer but if I had the 1.01 in a rookie draft that was ppr I would be taking Dez. He has the tool set to be an elite WR in NFL and those just dont come along too often. Not to mention a WR longevity in the league is double that of a RB. Of course like everything alot depends on the NFL draft but if Dez were to land in the right spot he could be the top perfromer this season. For example, if DEN is able to trade Marshall and drafts Dez he could have a very solid year with the other weapons on that team and in that system. Not to mention would move Orton up to a very solid backup in FF as a high end QB2. I mean Orton would have Dez/Royal/Tony/Moreno as weapons. -
10 Tem Keeper League Only 1 Team left
WoodDuck2003 replied to WoodDuck2003's topic in Find A League, Fill A League
Franchise 1 has been taken but there are still two teams available and they are both very solid with tons of potential. -
check out MFL. Allows offseason trading of player and picks, trade future picks and much more. I believe you will have to manually load the rosters initially but after that initial load it is automatic from year to year. If you join by June 1st it is only $49 wich is a great price. I am in 10 leagues and all but one is on MFL. Hope this helps

Well the guy with the 1.01/2.12/3.01 through 3 rds should draft a better team than the guy with 1.11/2.02/3.11!
-
If this trade is J.Charles/R.Bush for D.Jax/G.Jennings the answer.....ABSOLUTELY NOT! I wouldn't trade either one of those guys for both of the other guys! If you want to trade a WR for RB trade D.Jax straight up for a top RB or the 1.01 pick. Your WRs are sick and your RBs are fine. I didn't read all the posts but I hope you did not pull the trigger!

The answer to this question is no. Ocho is on the mark but a top end WR2 possibly WR1 but I don't think Bryant is a WR3 b/c of his knee issues. Even in a heavy run offense last year and now real threat opposite him Ocho had 72/1047/9 and was the 15th ranked WR in standard ppr leagues. If Bryant can stay healthy he can only help Ocho. Since Zimmer is in town now CIN will be playing much better D so are not going to be airing it out playing catchup. For this reason Palmer and Ocho wont' get slop stats at the end of a game but are certainly still solid ff producers. Going into 2010 I have Palmer as a top QB2 with potential to be a low end QB1 (I have him ranked 11th) and Ocho as a top end WR2 possible WR1, depending on the development of Bryant, (I have him ranked 16th).

As a Forte owner I hated to hear Martz say they have "two starting" RBs in CHI. I can only hope he is referring to his talent and not his playing time. That said it looks like Taylor is a must own for Forte owner. Now I do think Forte is the future but it is obvious that Martz is going to utilize Taylor quite a bit. So what is it going to take to get Taylor?

I think you gotta go Mendy now. FWP is gone and PIT wants to run the ball more. Mendy should be a top 10 RB this year imo.

10 team dynasty league. This is a ppr, all TDs 6pts, and a roster size of 24. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST. I have taken some gambles over the past two seasons and it has paid off. I know I am way deep at RB and could use some of that depth to upgrade my WR so what could I do? My Roster: QB: P.Manning/T.Brady/A.Smith RB: MJD/D.Williams/K.Moreno/L.McCoy/S.Greene/J.Stewart/B.Westbrook/K.Smith/C.Taylor WR: Calvin/B.Marshall/G.Jennings/S.Smith(CAR)/D.Bowe/M.Manningham/S.Breaston TE: J.Whitten/V.Shiancoe K: R.Longwell DST: PIT/NYJ 2010 Rookie Picks: 1.05/1.06 So obviously I have a ton of depth and I could certainly use a stud WR. What could I package to go after AJ or Wayne? Would Moreno/S.Smith be enough to get S.Smith?

Ok, for those of you that helped me I made the trade for the 1.01. Now here is my delima. 12 team dynasty league, ppr, all TDs 6pts, and heavy QB scoring (1pt/20yds) and all else standard. We start 1QB/1RB/3WR/1TE/1Flex(RB,WR,TE)/1K/1DST. My Roster: QB T.Brady/J.Cutler RB M.Turner/R.Rice/J.Harrison/D.McFadden/W.McGahee/J.Snelling/M.Bush WR R.Moss/Calvin/Colston/Ochocinco/Berrian TE B.Celek/D.Keller K J.Reed DST DEN 2010 draft picks 1.01 Another owner in my league really wants the 1.01. He has the 1.03/1.06/1.07 picks. The players he has that I like and might can get are Mendenhall/Addai/F.Jones/J.Whitten. Is there a combo of picks/players that would be worth giving up the 1.01?
-
We can start 1-2 RBs, 3-4 WRs and 1-2 TEs. I would like to have 3-4 solid RBs b/c of injury and youth to build on. I think in an 18 man roster with this format the goal (depending on talent) is 2QBs, 5RBs, 7WRs, 2TEs, 1K, 1DST
-
Yeah that is what I kind of figured but Forte in a Martz system is very tempting. He could be a serious buy low candidate this year. The only thing that worries me about Colston is that Brees is finding new targets and I wonder if there is enough to go around to keep him in the top 10 as a WR.
-
This does not involve the pick but the Forte/Boldin owner sent me an offer. Harrison/McFadden/Colston for Forte/Boldin. How about that offer?
-
The Boldin/Forte owner is asking what I will give for both of them.
-
So if I could get Mendy/1.06 for my 1.01 we all agree that would be a good deal for me right?
-
Cardinals practically giving Boldin away

I agree with other posters sell Breaston while his value is sky high! I also moved B.Wells after his great finish last year. If they have no more deep threat the running game can only be so good. I am in the group that is going to make the new AZ team prove they have alot of ff players. -
Yeah draft junkie here and a Cowboy fan. Last year as I was watching the Cowboys load up on picks and the PATs load up on picks this year I had a bad feeling my Boys were screwing the pooch and the PATs where being very wise! One year later I am convinced my feeling were right. The PATs as an organization are as good as it gets! I one draft, without picking but trading away the PATS went from being quite old at several skill positions to extremely young and talented at those same skill positions.

non ppr. We start 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1Flex(RB,WR,TE)/1K I give: P.Thomas/M.Manningham/Sims-Walker/2010 4th and 9th I get: M.Forte/J.Cotchery/two 2010 10th rd picks My current team (potential keepers in bold) P.Manning/D.McNabb M.Turner/F.Gore/W.McGahee/R.Rice/P.Thomas/W.Parker/C.Williams Ca.Johnson/M.Colston/Manningham/Ochocinco/D.Driver/Sims-Walker/C.Stuckey/K.Washington/C.Schilens J.Whitten/Shiancoe N.Rackers Obviously this would change my keepers. what do you think?
-
ok any one else?
-
Dynasty ppr. Should I accept this trade: I give: F.Jones/M.Bush I get: C.Wells/J.Davis(guy has McFadden)
-
I still like DMac and Evans. Even if Ward gets the start and has a lot of carries the matchup is bad. I would certainly start Evans, great matchup then it is a pickem b/t the other two. thanks for answering mine.
-
Yeah agree Sproles and it is not even close. LT is still out and in a ppr Sproles has a chance to put up sick #s against that MIA D. If LT were a 100% I might go Driver, but even then I could make an argument for Sproles.
-
lol, I know I was just playin and didn't want the poster to think you were making a homie pick. I agree with ya on Bush in a non ppr there are a ton of RBs I would rather have than Bush...including one on his own team.
-
First, I am not a Lions fan and second K.Smith and it is not even close for me. In a ppr it is closer but I still take K.Smith.
