    WR/RB Flex Help

Here is my $0.02: No Brainers to me: QB: P.Manning RB1:M.Turner WR1:C.Ochocinco WR2:T.J. Housh TE: K.Winslow K: Suisham D/ST: BAL Now you RB2 and Flex are a different story. Your RB2 I would start Barber if he plays if not I start Choice. With Barber out Choice will get a ton of work with F.Jones. Your Flex can be a TE and it is a ppr league I would start Celek(great matchup and he has been playing great). If not I think you should start T.J. Housh(ppr or not). I think Housh scores more points than Brown or Wade. Waivers: I would drop M.Bell(he is out 4-6 weeks) and pickup Britt/Forsett/Mendenhall in that order. They are all worth more than Bell at this point. Hope this helps please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=351634

    Redraft League Just Finished Draft

12 team redraft, ppr, pass TDs 4pts, Ints -1pt, all else std. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex(RB/TE/WR), 1K, 1DST. Here is my team: QBs: P.Rivers J.Cutler K.Orton RBs: MJD/R.Jennings B.Wells/T.Hightower R.Mendenhall F.Taylor T.Choice G.Coffee WRs: M.Colston D.Bowe D.Jackson(PHI) R.Williams(DAL) M.Clayton(BAL) D.H.B.(OAK) TEs: T.Scheffler K: R.Longwell DST: PIT Ok I know my TE is a bit weak but after the top three there is just not that a difference on a game by game basis. I am going to work on a trade to improve that. How does it look though overall?

    Redraft League Just Finished Draft

Yes I am hoping Mendy and Orton take off then package them for an upgrade at RB. It is ppr league and in the 5th rd D.Jackson(PHI) was still sitting there so I took him over Ward or Rice. May regret that but Jackson was the BPA at that time so I took him for my flex position. Starting Line up: QB:P.Rivers RBs: MJD/Wells(or Hightower whoever starts) WRs: Colston/Bowe/Roy Flex: DeSean Jackson TE: Scheffler K: R.Longwell DST: PIT Not a bad starting lineup for a redraft league.

    Rate My Draft

I assume your starting line up is: K.Warner. D.Williams CJ3 R.Wayne Bowe Holmes Cooley K.Brown NE I think that is a very solid starting line up. Your QB depth is not good, I would try and package Mendy/? for a solid backup QB. With DWill/CJ3/Moreno unless you start 3 you don't need Mendy. Does the Parker owner have a QB to give?

ppr or no ppr? makes a huge difference. Also all TDs 6pts? Also makes a big difference. Starters?

    Dynasty Trade Help

Looking for some help on this trade. Another owner wants Slaton and told me he really likes him(ooppss, lol). Any deals that make sense? There is one team in our league that needs a QB so I wouldn't mind getting Brady in the deal w/o giving up one of my QBs to try and trade one of them to that other team. All TDs 6pts, ppr, all else standard. We start 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1K/1DST. Here are our rosters: My Roster: Manning, Peyton IND QB Palmer, Carson CIN QB Hill, Shaun SFO QB Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB Westbrook, Brian PHI RB Slaton, Steve HOU RB Addai, Joseph IND RB Johnson, Larry KCC RB Rice, Ray BAL RB Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB Booker, Lorenzo PHI RB Johnson, Calvin DET WR Smith, Steve CAR WR Marshall, Brandon DEN WR (P) Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR Edwards, Braylon CLE WR Hester, Devin CHI WR Breaston, Steve ARI WR Witten, Jason DAL TE Longwell, Ryan MIN PK Steelers, Pittsburgh PIT Def Picks: I have traded all my rookie picks. His Roster: Brady, Tom NEP QB (P) Cassel, Matt KCC QB Campbell, Jason WAS QB Quinn, Brady CLE QB Collins, Kerry TEN QB White, LenDale TEN RB Smith, Kevin DET RB Lewis, Jamal CLE RB (P) Owens, Terrell BUF WR (P) Gonzalez, Anthony IND WR (P) Moss, Santana WAS WR (P) Ward, Hines PIT WR Clayton, Mark BAL WR (Q) Shockey, Jeremy NOS TE Smith, L.J. BAL TE (P) Brown, Kris HOU PK Kaeding, Nate SDC PK Panthers, Carolina CAR Def Picks: 1.03/2.03/3.03/4.03

    PPR league trade advice

    Benson/Marshall for sure.
  12. WoodDuck2003

    R.Bush

to scoop him up in all ppr dynasty leagues? I mean the owners have been dealing with this all season and now it seems to be getting worse so no doubt he can be had on the cheap in some cases. Lets hear it.
  13. WoodDuck2003

    Was this a steal?

Well based on his ADP no you did not reach for Brees. Problem is that the drop from Brees to Rodgers/Rivers is not huge but you can grab Rivers/Rodgers in the 4th. The WR you could have had in the 2nd rd vs. the WR you are going to get in the 4th is a HUGE difference. The other poster is right about Gore. That said I love Gore this year but you should have traded down to the 10th or 11th pick then taken Gore. I think you would have been better with Gore/Wayne/P.Thomas/B.Edwards(or similar) than Gore/Brees/P.Thomas/B.Edwards(or similar)

    MJD v. Forte v. Turner

In a non ppr league I move MJD to 3rd on this list. In ppr he is #1 I think it is all very close so chose the one you like b/t Turner/Forte.
  15. WoodDuck2003

Which quaterback will step up to elite status this year?

I actually like Romo. Last year his ppg was ranked 3rd. He lost TO but with R.Williams/J.Whitten/Miles/Barber/Jones/Choice I see no reason that Romo will not approach the 4,000/35 mark which will rank him right up there. In addition, he is a QB that can be had after all the big names are gone Brees/Brady/Manning/Rodgers/Rivers/McNabb. So, based on value it even makes him a better option.
  16. WoodDuck2003

    R.Bush

I would not touch him in a redraft at all. But in a ppr dynasty league if you could get the guy for cheap would it be worth it. He will not be good this year but he is still very young. By the way A.Green went on to have several very productive years in fantasy world. If Bush can be had cheap and you could afford to stash him is what I am wondering or is he going to be like this every year?

    Good Trade?

Terrible trade for you! Forget about the 11th and 16th rds. You move back 6 spots in the 1st and up 6 spots in the 6th. I am not sure how this owner sold you on this trade but you got had. For him to move up 6 spots in the 1st you should have gotten his 1st and his 3rd or at least 4th.
  18. WoodDuck2003

    LT SJAX or Gore

I disagree. I think just for this year non ppr it is LT, Gore, SJax. SFO is going to look to run the ball much more and STL just plain sucks! They will be behind often thus having to pass a ton and leaving the run early in games.

    Need Running Back Help

If you can get Slaton for Holmes do it NOW! You can worry about having 3 Texans later. If that owner will do that you are making out like a bandit. After that trade you could look to package Schaub+ to try and get Rodgers or Rivers.

    Quick Keeper Question

Wow very solid team. As for the keepers here is who I would keep in order: MJD D.Williams Fitz D.Bowe Whitten If you can trade by all means try and package R.Brown/? for a top QB. In a keep 5, non ppr I would want a top QB. If you could trade for A.Rodgers or P.Rivers I would do it. In your format top QBs score a ton of points I assume. If you could get your keepers to look something like A.Rodgers/MJD/DWill/Fitz/Bowe or Whitten you would be off to a great start. Then I would also try and trade some of your other talent for draft picks or package them with draft picks to move up. If you can't trade until after the draft then.... It is close for me b/t Bowe/P.Thomas/R.Bown but since Bowe would be a starter and P.Thomas/R.Brown are depth I like helping the starting roster. There is a good chance that you can draft P.Thomas back anyway. This gives you top players at RB/WR/TE. Now you are free in the draft to take the best players available regardless of position. I would not worry about a QB unless a great one falls. If you draft the best players available you can always trade for a top QB.

    6 Keepers

If I am reading this right, in your scoring system QBs have got to score a ton! You have two guys that will have 25+completions every week not to mention yds and TDs. It also does not favor WRs or TEs very much. Eventhough it is a ppr league, RBs get a pt/rush. If it were me I would keep, in this order: Warner PT Rice White Whitten(just b/c he is a top 3 at his position) Palmer or F.Jones or R.Williams Again, if I am reading your scoring correctly QBs are going to be huge. By keeping these two guys you have a chance to have two top 10 QBs. At some point some team is going to need a top QB and in a trade I bet Warner or Palmer would bring you a better RB than F.Jones or WR than R.Williams. In your draft I would target Leinart late that way as long as Palmer is solid you could trade Warner/Leinart or if you trade Palmer you have Warners backup. If your scoring system were different I would have different keepers and in a different order. Good Luck

Is this a good trade or a bad trade?

I might agree with that statement if Cutler were still in DEN. However, Cutler is now in CHI so I think Rodgers is a big upgrade. That said I am not sure I would give up Cutler/Barber for Rodgers. It is close but I think you are slightly over paying for Rodgers. Not to mention it is possible that Hester/Bennett/Olsen are good enought for Cutler to have a 4,000yd/25 TD season. It is hard to trade Cutler right now b/c his value is low. I would be more inclined to enter the season with him as your starter and worse case you could play match ups with him and Ryan. At some point a better trade may arise.

Miles Austin is the steal of the draft

Even if Miles is the #2 WR for the Cowboys he is going to be the #4 or #5 target: Last Year: J.Whitten-81 rec T.O.-69 rec (now R.Williams) M.Barber-52 rec T.Choice-21 rec Total rec-223 Romo-276 completions Johnson-41 completions Total completions-317 That leaves 94 receptions for the rest of the team. I could see the WR2(Miles)/F.Jones/Slot WR(Crayton) all splitting the rest. I really don't see the 4 guys above getting fewer receptions and I doubt the Cowboys throw as much this season and certainly not more. I think Miles will for sure be a big deep threat and used to spread the field but I see his stats more like 35/600/4. Miles is not T.Glenn. I think the Cowboys will be more balanced this year and would be suprised if they reached 300 completions this season. Just my opinion but if you are taking Miles for anything more than a WR4 or depth you may be disappointed.

    Frachise Setup MFL

I am a commish in an MFL league and need to set up a co-ownership for a team. Is there a way to set up two owners for one team. This league was formally in CBS and you could have two owners for one team. Each owner had full owner functionality. Any ideas as I cant find it.
