Not a Chiefs homer/fan (but am a JC owner), but amazes this year how quickly they go to their 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. options while their 2 best players (JC and Bowe) get no love. Maybe JC was hurt and not disclosed, but other than that there is no excuse for not finding ways to get him the ball. Balt falls into the same trap sometimes with Rice.

From CBS Sports..............Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles had a hard time getting anything going in Week 8 against the Raiders. Charles was held to just 4 yards rushing on five carries in the 26-16 defeat. He also caught three passes for 6 yards but wasn't on the field for most of the fourth quarter. When coach Romeo Crennel was asked why Charles only ran the ball five times on Sunday he responded: "Now, that I'm not exactly sure either." Analysis: Something appears to be going on here as no one, including Crennel, seemed to know why Charles was not on the field more Sunday. While he did struggled with the limited touches he got, the Chiefs offered very little explanation as to why he did not touch the ball more. Crennel said Charles is healthy as far as he knows, albeit Fantasy owners may want to keep an eye on the injury report when it is released this week just to make sure. Wonder what game Romeo was paying attention to if he didn't know JC wasn't in the game? Should be canned tonight..........

*** Official "Who are you dropping Cutler for" Thread ***
Roochie replied to Bui's topic in FFToday Board
Going to drop his ass Tuesday just to be rid of him. Whoever I pick up after that has got to be an improvement for my team! -
Does your league have an IR slot on your rosters?

3 years ago we added 1 roster spot to our 12 team league and abolished IR altogether. Been Nirvana since then.......... -
I have AD and handcuffed him with Taylor. It would take extremely drastic situation for me to drop Taylor. I don't consider your situation that drastic.

Hope your right about Floyd. I picked him up earlier this week. Chambers couldn't catch the swine flu if he tried let alone a tossed football. Chargers have got to make a move sometime. I know that feeling you are talking about regarding Jennings. I've found that Pepto helps. If not, then I do this......

I thought this from Dave Richards (CBS Fantasy Writer) perfectly summed up TO's situation: The last word: Let's play a game. Here are the stats for a prominent NFL receiver: Week 1: Two catches, 46 yards Week 2: Three catches, 52 yards, TD Week 3: No catches, no yards Week 4: Three catches, 60 yards Week 5: Four catches, 44 yards Week 6: Three catches, 14 yards Week 7: Three catches, 27 yards Before you try and guess the receiver's identity, would you want him on your Fantasy team? Would you even consider starting someone on par with many of the league's low-end wideouts? The winner got paid $6 million guaranteed before the season, and his team has won two straight games in spite of his poor play. The player? Terrell Owens of the Buffalo Bills. If you've been worried about dropping him, go ahead. It's clear that he's a shell of his former self and unlikely to turn things around, at least on a consistent basis. Just try not to think about the out-of-nowhere receivers like Miles Austin, Sidney Rice, Mike Sims-Walker, Mario Manningham, Hakeem Nicks, Austin Collie, Mike Wallace, Johnny Knox, Pierre Garcon and others who weren't drafted that you could have picked up in place of T.O. at several points before this week.

Is there an echo in here?
-
Ummm....Knox plays for Chicago. In Chicago, the starting QB is Cutler. For Schillens to return to the active roster and displace Knox would certianly be a shock to Knox and the rest of the Bears.

Wonder what Vinny is up to
-
They didn't activate him to I'm starting him
-
His balls aren't swollen are they?

IMO the bigger "injury" risk for Smith is Delhomme. We have seen the past few years that Smith's production drops way off when Jake is out. If you think Jake will make it through the season then I would lean toward Smith.

So true. : But, even given how well Cutler was throwing to Royal that game I doubt Cutler had the arm to reach a guy sitting on his couch. :

You might be able to get one of Ronnie Brown's legs for LJ right now but I'd doubt you'd be able to get the whole Ronnie Brown
