Ok - I guess I have been working hard to make sure the data is squeaky clean before sending it over. Are you saying some of the name correction takes place during the process as well like Odell Beckham vs Odell Beckham Jr.? so - in a nutshell 1. copy the raw data in 2. adjust columns etc... 3. copy to compiler 4. check the compiler for N/As and issues? 5. fix issues in projection pal and copy over again? Also - is there an easy way to get in more than 2 sites A and B - or am I just coping them over to past years and changing the name?
-
Hey Mike..... Um, would you consider removing the rookie symbol? The names do not match up - so I either have to eliminate the symbol from your list or add it to my imported list. I assume I have to add it because they will not copy to compiler correctly. if I am missing something let me know. Cheers.

Hi, This is my 4th year or so using this product and enjoy it very much. It started doing something strange.... When I get the data cleaned up in PP, I check the clean tab to make sure everything looks good. When I hit, copy to compiler it does not transfer but instead changes all the names on the raw tab to be whatever is in the first row. So for QBs, everyone on the sheet becomes Michael Vick. Even stranger, nothing copies over for Vick either. what am I doing wrong.... Thanks

Hi - I must be a moron.... I am using excel 2010 with the compiler and have everything tweaked for my draft. When I hit print - to my color laser, it brings up a b/w preview and prints b/w (imagine that). I have checked all the page and printer properties and cannot figure this out. Any ideas?
-
ugh - it was bunk printer driver sorry for the dumb post
-
It is my work color laser :-) so it is good to go I use it almost daily for real work stuff. The think I don't get is that when hit the preview button or print button it shows the dock in B&W.... Other color sheets show up color. It must be an excel thing but I can't see where...

I just don't feel like getting hosed from CBS again. I guess that the service was not terrible, but the fee is (I feel) outrageous. I would rather put the same dollars toward the payout. Live scoring is a must - no dynasty here. What do you guys recommend? thx
-
Well... this has drawn some good debate. We are a small money league - 25 to get in. So avoiding the $150 fee does add a significant amount to the pot. Not trying to be a cheap ass here, but at the end of the day I would rather pay the winners than CBS... I have setup a league in Yahoo and it looks ok. I am going to set one up in ESPN and give that a shot. I will try and post back and let you know what I find. MFL may be a happy medium and I can import our league history. From reading the comments it seems the CBS is the best choice if money were no object. ESPN seems to edge Yahoo although I am not really sure why. I played a team on yahoo last year and my only complaint with them is the Java window they force you to open for live scoring. Thanks to all who responded and provided good feedback. Cheers

150.... or 129 with early bird deal I think.

WOW - this is great thank you much. You have built some great karma in the eyes of the fantasy gods... You are sure to dominate all your leagues! Thanks again for your hard work.

Chester Taylor starting and some RBBC has me worried about Adrian.... Thanks
-
I am in a deep league - 14 teams so not any good WRs left (we start 3 plus flex). Someone even drafted Burleson and Engram..... Anyway, I could build some depth or protect a DF/TE for bye weeks if Hackett will be gone for like 6-7 weeks, but as soon as I drop him Holmgren will have him back on the field the very same week.... So if you were me - build depth and drop him - or hang on to him for the last half of the season...... Thanks.

Thanks bugzy

1ppr? Tiki looks good in that format (with the receptions) at that spot. I keep thinking about Curtis Martin and the huge year he had in about the same situation and age.

I have copied in stats from a site that has the playes first and last names seperate colums. I identify the the correct names in the drop down box but not go. I also notice nothing is happenting over in cells ah4 and ah5. I believe that is where the combing is supposed to take place. Any ideas... Thanks Mike

Hi If I have a category blank in site B, say 100reyard+ games. When I average that- 50 FFtoday and 50 site B what happens? Does it ignore them for the calc or count it as a zero? If it is not in my scoring profile should I care? Thanks
-
Mike, Projection Pal is outsantding! I agree copying into PP from sites or other Excel docs is the way to go. It is the easiest - even though some name cleanup may be necessary. The column heading drop downs are sneaky smart.... how come I did not think of that.... Can you add a drop down in the setup to add projections to the 2002, 2003, etc... columns in the compiler? I would like to use at least three (probably 4) sites this year to average out the stats. FFtoday will be the most weighted ofcourse! I did this all manually last year - yikes it took a looooong time. You are going to save me a lot of work and I appreciate it. You can count on a cold beer or two from me anytime. E_Merlin

That makes sense. I will just have to do the 2002,2003,2004, etc... first. Thanks again. E

Hi, this is probably a dumb questions, but I want to be sure. For a shutout would I just set the high & low points to 0? Thanks

One from the great beer land of Wisconsin of course! We have numerous outstanding local micros to choose from. I would recommend a Spotted Cow for starters. We have great beer and cheese to help get us through the Wisconsin winters. And contrary to popular belief - Wisconsin is the REAL home of happy cows! What a commercial.... (no references to our female residence either, thank you very much) <putting flack jacket on just in case> E_Merlin
