Sort of like ManningCast on MNF.... ETA: only on the distracting part. Not sure they're adding any propaganda on the NFL content -
Interested Did something like this a long time ago, 8 owners, randomly assigned NFL divisions. Was okay, pretty minimal effort since you didn't have to scour the waiver wire, just make sure you lineup was set each week.

Boy Scouts of America rebranding, changing name to Scouting America
Twinsdad replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
Meh, the name change is a nothing burger. In the UK, it's just referred to as Scouting and includes both boys and girls. As far as the bolded statement above, in the US, there are boys troops and girls troops, they do not meet together or camp together. They are completely separate. The are just girls doing the same achievements as the boys. -

It would be much quieter if you left the gloryhole door closed between servicing the gym-bros. -

This. I've heard in the past that they count attendance as paid, not the numbers that walk through the gates.

that could of only happened if this were held at the old Joe Louis Arena because Probert's family spread his ashes in the penalty box there. -

Was at the game, that was fockin' incredible to see. Also, not even the record for Ford Field, Justin Tucker bounced a 66-yarder off the crossbar and through to beat the Lions a few years back.

Mother of teen shooter found guilty
Twinsdad replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I don't disagree with the verdict. Based on info that has come out since the shooting, I have felt the parents bore some responsibility. Of the two options the jury had to consider, I would guess that most if not all agreed with the "grossly negligent in providing care" over "failure to provide reasonable care".
