I get that. I am not rewriting history, or arguing with you about what has happened. I am saying we shouldn't be using Czar in our titles. I see it as a Russian title. That other people have accepted it, pushed it, were ok with it, whatever, isn't very significant to me. I guess I could say it never much mattered to me before because I thought it was something that people called it, not the actual title. Maybe its not that, and this time, like previously, the title is Border Administrator(or whatever), and people just use the nickname of Border Czar.

the article says she was a special asst and Coordinator of the Southern Border. It calls her the Border Czar, but it doesn't look like from the article that that was the title. Now, like on the Foxnews page, it shows Homan as the Border Czar, like that is the actual title. I don't think we should be using these names. If people use it casually or in articles, fine. Just not the actual title. I don't care if its a D or R thing.

ok, I wasn't presenting that as some dig, just that it seemed more to be a bit of a dig at Kamala, and then people are now running with it as a title. who was the former, before Kamala? just curiosity. I don't recall that person.

Something about calling him the Border Czar bothers me. Was it that Border Czar entered the lexicon when Kamala got the root cause role? Rs started calling her the Border Czar, of the failing variety. And then now, it seems that everyone is running with calling this position the Border Czar. I don't think we should be using it for any of the cabinet positions, any govt ones really. This bother anyone else?

its in my first response to you in this thread on page 3..that more than 1 person in this thread has said Vick sucked. I understand that peenie said "you all", but as an adult in a conversation, you should garner that she implying the sentiment at the time of Vick playing from detractors and specifically Geek detractors was that you can't win with Vick type players. peenie seemed to cite that the league has moved this way. You responded to a post from peenie where you bolded "you guys are still saying Vick sucks". In that post, you said, "no, we're not. if you can't show it, your lying". I pointed out that you were ignoring the first 2 posts on page 3. I thought your argument was childish when you got evidence from Hauck, ignored those posts(ie had more evidence), and then asked for more evidence.

Yep, good show. Nice to see a new season. I used to read all of the Connelly books while on short flights. The Bosch series is great, for an easy read.

why would anyone complain about this? like why would it matter at all? there is an original version. then there have been remakes. one would expect that the remakes have some kind of variation. just endless complaining about nonsense.
