Given the climate, with Democrats inviting violence with their rhetoric, I do not blame security for being engaged like that. But after he identified himself, couldn't they just escort him out and deescalate? On the one hand, these people are in a dangerous job, and protecting the current administration is no piece of cake given the violent nature of those on the left. I guess these cops would likely nor realize this was all for show and essentially an act to get some tv time....it would have been nice if they could have foreseen the tactic.
