I think the most important step toward actually improving a situation is to admit the truth. Here we have one lone voice in a sea of untruth finally speaking out. This is something we should all welcome. I have some doubts that the ideologically captive folks in these media outlets will ever relent on their cultish beliefs. But if one person can speak out, maybe more eventually will. And maybe......we can see a return of actual journalism, and with it our protections against the powerful. Kudos to Bezos in this instance for calling it out.

I am going out on a limb here.......I predict.....in the next Presidential election, the Democrats will call the Republican candidate a fascist and a doctorial person..... I predict this since they have done it to nearly every single one in the past 60 years or so.... and look at all the people who just eat it up.....

Maybe. I think the Iran instance with Reagan is a problem, and I have no idea what Biden sold to our enemies abroad, which could come back to us. Still, the person who responded to me sorta questioned why I was not convinced with regard to Reagan, pointing to available evidence. I and did concede that there is enough evidence to suggest Reagan did something wrong, which is why I think he likely did. I then pointed to my stance with regard to Biden, since the two have similarities.

I did, I thought it was on point. I think this tactic of the "facist" and "hitler" is nothing new, but might be rather effective against the younger voters. There are some of us aware that the Democrats used this against Nixon.....Ford.....Reagan....Bush II.... Paul Ryan...... So, here we are again, the once again.....Democrats are trotting out this tired old tactic. If you are someone impacted by facism and Hitler, I cannot fault anyone for objecting to it being misused as it once more is.....

I think it might depend on your individual perceptions. Much of what is known about the events suggest that this could be true, and I believe that there is enough for a reasonable person to conclude that something nefarious transpired. But then again, I use this same logic toward Biden and what appears to be ample evidence of his selling favors to foreign nations from his position of power, and I am rather consistently challenged on this. So is my logic toward Reagan and Biden true, or must we have more evidence or even a conviction before we can believe that something happened?

Oh I see, well I disgree with him on that point. IMHO, if a court of law found enough evidence to convict then they likely need to be in jail. I am not inclined to give any leeway for violent protestors.

I do not have the time or patience to go hunting for past examples, I do not recall a specific time for you and I to fall into this situation It is really not that common overall, I usually have to wait for a scenario where someone pretended to care about a situation in the past and suddenly does not, and the political factor is evident.

I disagree. I think there were people involved in that day who need to be in jail, who were wrong and I want accountability for those who physically took action. I am concerned that Trump might free some of them when elected, and I object to that.......
