We do not need more laws, we need fewer laws. We DO need the CURRENT laws properly enforced......that would be a nice place to start. If I were ever in a position to do so, elected position or what have you, I would make it my mission to systematically strip as many laws as possible out of active use.

Thats nice. We start with the criminals, they should be found, captured and sent someone, anywhere but here. In tandem we seal the border, anyone crossing is arrested, and yeah separate families too, and we get those fockers back to their country of origin. Also, get back to wall building coupled with monitoring systems, and in parallel work with who ever is willing to reform the immigration system. Plenty of people to jettison from the country, would likely take more than four years, best to just get started.

I am down with that. Take away any benefits being afforded to them, eliminate the motivation to come here and to stay here. Sure. Of course, other nations DO enforce their borders so if it were to arise that people starting making their way back, I presume they would not allow them....because they are not focking stupid....

Mass deportation is just not feasible in terms of booting all the illegals out in a short term. Not enough people to do it, not enough places/spaces to keep them and its rather costly. I think getting the criminals out is a priority and should be done no matter the cost, but I would like to see a more measured approach that ensures productive people remain. Another problem is that the countries of origin do not want these people back, for good reason of course.

They dislike the person because the person has a dissenting opinion, this then colors everything that person says.... to they project intent into the words....and then, they cancel....well, excommunicate, to put it into proper cult terminology

I think it would help Harris to sustain the lie around abortion, and pretend that Republicans have impeded women from access. That seems to really sell. I think the lie around "fascist" is just not working.
