It has to be Harris. Cannot be anyone else. Makes sense on every level. She can use all the money they collected and what not...... She checks the irrelevant boxes in terms of DEI...... She is already "in there" so to speak...... She gives the Dems a nice set of elements to sucker voters by being "of color" and such..... The problem for her will be when she speaks. She may very well be good and make a good President, but everything we see and hear from her suggests otherwise. With her you move away from "dementia" and sorta drift into "incompetency" I think it will be Harris, but who would she pick as VP? They could pull in Pete from DOT......that might give the ticket some juice

I surmise the Democrats held considerable satisfaction back then they their lawfare would succeed. And to be fair give their shotgun approach to throw everything they could possibly find at him, it made sense. They know very well that the state has all the cards when it comes to legal warfare, so it made sense. That this guy(Trump) has stood up to their media mouthpieces.... stood up to their procedural firepower(impeachment).....stood up to their legal corruption......stood up to an assassination attempt..... I mean, good lord, in the back hallways of the Democrats, they must just be looking around wondering what is left? Every tool in the bag to pervert out Democracy has been used, short of invoking some civil-based strife...maybe that is their next move?

I think their approach represents what we should not accept from them. When the media distorts the event with carefully worded articles, that should generate a negative response on our part.

I think you can perhaps come away with two specifics: they were either inept or they were part of the attempt I think most of us do not want to consider they were part of the attempt. On the pro side you have all these efforts on the DOJ to subvert Democracy with the lawfare, while actively allowing Democrats to be as criminal as they please. On the con you have to presume that almost all of them on site were in on it, and likely some of the local cops as well, which I find challenging to accept.....no way this is kept quiet. From what I am watching, its ineptitude. Right now across the government there is back hall efforts on the part of many to offset what they see as a deficiency in the capabilities of the SS in particular. My company is getting some nice opportunities to provide additional security.

I get that, and your position has merit, it was a well=conceived and logically-driven hypothesis; I might caution you against assuming that because you believe something it must be true. Now, I leave it to you for your song and dance using whataboutisms and Tu quoque so as to avoid any actual discussion.

Not sure where this sudden rise in logic has come from, but its certainly refreshing. We cannot dispel that the opposing party was involved of course, but there is almost no chance we ever know if they were. And frankly, I would prefer it be hidden, considering what might arise if such information were made available. In fact, the evidence available makes the DOJ a little more suspect.

I think she is smart enough to not even put herself in this position. Right now they are a mess over there. But it would make so much sense for them to do this very thing. They can use gender/race as a shield so no one could ever honestly assess her for the role, she is effectively immune to any criticism.

This really is a fascinating series of events. Just a few months ago the religious edicts of the liberal arena emphatically stated that Biden was robust, authoritative and just thoroughly in control.....that polling issues were simply a result of bad messaging, that the lived experiences of people who were suffering were not true, and they just needed to accept that life was better......believe as they were being told to believe..... The debate denied the Democrats and their media puppets the ability to hide it, to reframe it and pronounce their religious edicts on what to believe. The polling now suggests Biden will lose. Are they ramping up their efforts to highlight how much better peoples lives are today? No....they are not.... Are they gaslighting people as they were? Some are, but many have given up the charade....accepting that people are no longer believing their lies. Some are still fighting, that racist piece of filth Joy Reid remains fervent to her religion....so far.... So now that they fear losing power, they turn on him, allowing the truth to be spoken. No longer trotting out the trite lies and nonsense that typifies the Democrats.

This notion that now the government want to "parent" is of course sinister, and then also just laughable. There is no institution less capable than the government. It is the interference of government into the family that has caused the most harm to society, notably to the AA community. We should, collectively, oppose government intervention at every turn. Government is NEVER....the answer....to ANYTHING Allowing teachers to hold some ownership at all is just.....absolutely galactically stupid

There is a lesson to be derived here. Implicit trust in those we see as "leaders" is a path to bad outcomes. What has transpired here is medical testing that Nazi doctors would admire. A global experiment on children. Europe caught on to this and is acting like scientists are supposed to, and admitting they were wrong. There is a cultural problem in this nation when it comes to admitting we are wrong. We lack this skill.

The reaction to that attempt, that being a rather robust response across government to get extra outside security, tells me that this was likely not something planned.....

I do not think they let it happen, but they seem to have some problems. After that shooting, requests to my company to provide security have surged, hell we were asked to step up this week to protect Sec Granholm for her home move.....its crazy right now, none of the govies think the SS can protect them.....which is of course good money for us

I think there are two sources. 1) They actually believe it, and this is very likely the case. I mean, it makes sense. Think of the other things they believe....men can become women....the border is secure..... so they likely really believe it. They sorta believe anything they are told, if it comes from a source they have been indoctrinated to trust without question....its a religion 2) They know its not true, but they want their people to hold power, so they follow the lie for its usefulness
