Such as Russian Collusion? Or such as the laptop is fake? Or how about inflation is transitory...or the more recent "deep fakes"? The lies are coming steadily from Democrats and their media allies, and over and over the media executes a correction later....after the damage is done. So again, I must stress, that liberals stop believing the lies. Enough is enough. If they come out tomorrow and tell you the sky is blue, you need to ask two other people and confirm. Aren't you at least a little annoyed at how they have lied to you and treated you as if you are stupid?

Killing a rival candidate? President may now be immune for that and more

I think you have a point. Sadly..... -

I think this is a great question. The only one that really comes to mind would be Nixon. Aside from him, the party has always seemingly backed their guy, no matter what. So for these Democrats to now be turning on him, I think speaks to their apprehension with regard to Trump. -

No, he lied, you should not defend him on this. His lies are not being misinterpreted. https://thehill.com/business/4529787-yellen-regrets-saying-inflation-transitory/And later they "regretted" the lie, which we all knew was a lie when they said it They lied because they are politicians. That is what politicians do. If they speak, you start from the premise that its a lie. Why do they lie about anything.....they want people to like them, support them, vote for them....poll for them. These are basic elements everyone should understand. If we cannot grasp these basic elements, we end up with a retard to opens up the border, stokes inflation, and inspires foreign wars. A weak and inept leader. -

Biden lied about inflation. First he denied it was happening. Then he called it transitory. Perhaps you believed his lies, but to anyone with a modest understanding of economics, it was clear even then that he was not telling the truth. His actions, when calling it transitory, to flood the economy with more money, was wrong.....its was reckless. Machin saved him from making it even worse, when he stopped the next round of money Biden sought to flood into the economy. It was a mistake, an easy one to avoid. His economic policies are not suitable. -

I think inflation comes and goes, and its part of the economy for every administration. Where that administration does obviously stupid things from a policy perspective that exacerbates inflation they deserve to be assailed for it. What is worse, is the lying about it....denying it....pretending it was transitory and in the process....allowing it to continue without proper action.....and then later throwing MORE money into the system, and then later trying to do it again.... its reprehensible. -

Correct. I get that you wont understand it immediately, but if you read up about it, the impacts of compound inflation are nasty; and really bad for the lower classes. Inflation this year leads to higher prices, those higher prices are the starting point for next year's inflation Inflation has something called a compound interest curve, resulting in prices increase by a percentage every unit of time. So if inflation is running at 10% per year, and this remains stable, something worth $100 last year will cost $110 this year and $121 next year, NOT $120. Its not simply more expensive, its much worse than that. -

No, you were correct. But people will read your posting with intent to see you saying something you are not. What is rarely raised is the compounding factor, and how the slowing of inflation (while great) does not help all that much. -

Let's do the Tu quoque falacy later. For now we should focus on the discussion. Are they over reacting, well, sure they are. But that is normal for them. Its why they keep getting caught in all the lies. They do things to such an extreme it eventually comes back. I submit, that right now they are discussing how they might try to oust him from office to get Harris in there as the incumbent for the election. It would be despicable..... BUT It would be right in line with how they think and behave. -

I do think the Democrats are over reacting. I think your point is salient, it was one bad night; though I also understand that people have been calling this problem out, and finally it was shown on a big stage, and the media could not hide it from people. Now, this move on the part of the Democrats is not new, or all the sudden; this move is integral to their existence. Over react and make the situation seem far worse, this is how they exist....this is how they manipulate. We are watching a significant divide among liberals. We can see that those whose power is predicated on Biden.....are standing by him with vigor. Conversely, those who seek power....regardless....are ready to dump Biden so as to find someone who can deliver that power to them. At the end of the day, it is not about our welfare, nor that of any group or person.....Democrats only crave power....and they lie relentlessly to manipulate people to serve them that power. And that is on full display right now. -

It must be rather disconcerting to have simple situations blown up into things like "threat to Democracy"....and such.... I can empathize with your frustrations. -

I would be hesitant to accept anything the media puts out, mostly because their propensity to lie like a politician; often in defense of a politician. That being said, there is nothing about the New York Times, nor media in general, that suggests they have the slightest clue as to what a good leader is. Therefore, we should each decide for ourselves what leadership traits matter to us the most, and vote accordingly. Trump is a rather good leader, not perfect, and certainly superior to Biden. I would welcome his leadership. -

Yes lies. They lied about so many things, from Russian Collusion to very fine people to the laptop and of course Bidens mental capacity.... this should bother you a bit. So much so that you would start to mirror the conservative behavior to start from a position to call BS from the jump. Pretending that Trump has mental issues is not likely the best way to approach the evaluation, no matter how many times liberal politicians or their puppets in the media try to sell that. We should instead ignore the person, and focus on the policy. Focusing on the person over policy is how we would up with the disaster that Biden has been -
I would note that when I make this assertion I am called a racist.....will he also share that distinction?

I think he has a place to do this. JMHO.....the guy suffered a health issue that had him all jacked up, and he seems to have recovered from it. Who better to speak to a brain-related problem than Fetterman?

It makes sense that you would consume what The Party and the MSM have provided you. It further makes sense that you are holding firmly to this "Trump is so bad" mantra; when in practice he is no worse or better than any other politician, save for he is not bought.... I surmise there are plenty of folks out there such as yourself, who consume the propaganda announced by politicians and their proxies in the media as truth. I hope that at some point, enough of their lies are exposed that you eventually sit back and reflect on what they have done and said, how it was all a lie to manipulate you, and then have enough of it.....assume they are all lying when they speak, no matter who it is, and then wait until they are proven to not be lying. -

So then, you agree with the approach to not speak to policy, but instead attack the other candidate personally? I mean....if that is how you engage with elections then, I guess that is fine for you. I think I will engage it more from a policy perspective.
